Well, now, you see, just the way you phrased it there... "the truth." That turns a lot of intelligent people off, because we (I humbly include myself in that lot) know that whenever someone claims to have "the truth" about something which cannot be tested, that person is typically closed-minded and unwilling to seriously consider anything which goes against what he already believes. This makes debating fairly pointless, since we know going in that such a person will likely not change his mind or even consider a viewpoint. What such a person will typically do is _pretend_ to hear the other side so as to have a forum for spreading his or her own truth.
I do agree, by the way, that the truth may be a bitter pill to swallow, but I fear it is you who needs to do the swallowing.

I used to have many comments, but not so much anymore. Most conversations like these are just the same old thing in a different outfit. So I let other people go for it if they want, and I usually keep my comments relatively short and simple. I've learned the hard way that explaining myself point-by-point and thoroughly is usually pretty unproductive.
I don't think you're necessarily talking too much, but if you want people to really read your posts, you might want to make them a bit more accessible. Save your more tedious explanations for someone who gets involved in a conversation with you and wants to understand more of what you're saying. It's up to you, of course. I only delete certain kinds of messages, and yours haven't been that kind, but in order to get people to really read what you're saying, you probably want to make your posts more concise, at least at first.
Welcome to the board.
