I'm not debating that the events occured. I'm saying that since we KNOW those events occured, and pretty much HOW those events occured, it's very easy to glance through the Bible and pick any verses that even vaguely support that event happening.

The real question for any of those prophecies is this: "If we had been alive when the prophecy was made, would we have understood it to be predictive of event x?" If the answer is no, as I suspect is almost always the case, then we must be extremely careful about picking out verses in the Bible that seem tangetially related and saying AH HA! Here is the prophecy. (because now that the event has happened we know what to look for)

This is the verse according to the NIV that your article uses as proof positive that there was a prophecy about drying up a moat-river whatever that means.

who says to the watery deep, 'Be dry,
and I will dry up your streams,'

It's just out in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't say anything about moats. It's super vague.

Yeah I read it. It's pretty propaganda laiden. See my above moat example.

Did you bother to check to make sure the versus your article uses as proof indeed constitute proof?
