>>Which ones havent??

Ah. Methinks you dodge the question. Did you read that link that I provided word for word about prophecy?

>>Why are you sure? ...and that dissonant
>business...Doesnt dissonant mean, Not in harmony,
>Harsh-toned, incongrunous? It does'nt quite make sense
>as a condition. hmmm.

Effort dissonance is a lack of harmony between the amount of effort one spends on something vs. whether or not they really believe that particular something. Many, Many, Many studies have shown that if someone exerts a lot of effort on something that their attitudes will necessarily line up with whatever it was they spent effort on, provided that they don't have some sort of self-convincing excuse for their efforts. Hence, I'm not surprised that you find prophecy even MORE edifying to your faith. To not do so would quickly bring about dissonance, and you'd likely feel pretty nasty about things for awhile. This state is probably recognizable by most ex-christians.

>>>believe something without sound evidence or just
>>>because a person wants it to be so.

That's interesting. Do you or do you not want the idea of Jesus and God to be so?

>

>Then you would be a poor man. Save your money do not
>bet for you are incorrect.

Oh. Okay. You're wrong about my being wrong.

>I feel that even if the evidence was glaring you in
>the face you still would not accept it. But that is
>your choice.

Why don't you present the evidence that would be "glaring in my face" if it is so convincing?

>The offer of attaining the knowledge is there on a
>plate for you (IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW).

Why don't you simply tell me by way of listing the evidence?

>I have given you, personally, enough to think about I
>can say the same about your comments they have made my
>faith in God and the Bible stronger.

Then I have to say that you are either deluded or a fool, unless of course contrary evidence strengthens your resolve. (Did you read that link about prophecy I provided word for word or did you merely skim it? Why don't you tell me why that fellow is wrong or at least point out criticisms in his arguments like I did in your provided article?) Are you too proud to test your faith? I'm beginning to think the answer is yes..
