I use to have my own opinions about the validity of the Bible and so long as I was the God of my mind I could not SEE proof when it was right in front of me. The greatest evidence of God is creation itself and He says that in His Word the Bible. It also says in the Bible that those who do not believe are blinded by the devil. The devil is real and the author of lies. PROOF, SIGNS and such will NEVER be given to the unbelieving because God cannot be pleased apart from FAITH. He manifests Himself only to those who choose to believe HIM. He rejects those who worship their own imaginations and exalt themselves above the knowledge of God. I experienced the blinded side of life and now I live the KNOWING side of life. Knowing Him is what life is all about and knowing who we are in Jesus Christ makes you complete. Only by KNOWING Him can you experience true love and learn to love even the unloveable. God's love for us endures forever, it is only ourselves that separates us from Him. The joy and peace only comes from Him and that is evident in the misery in the lives even of even the richest on earth. Knowing who you are, your purpose in this life and having the power to be who you were created to be brings fulfillment. God is the source of power to live and fear nothing. He empowers us with His divine nature with a knowing that cannot be shaken. God is a good God and those who do not KNOW Him, falsely accuse Him and blame God for the evils of the Devil. You will not meet Him apart from the WAY He made for all man kind to be reconcilled to Him. That WAY is through His Son Jesus Christ. If we could earn our way to heaven by WORKS then all of these different religions would have validity, but NO ONE, NOT ONE, NOBODY can stand before God without Him having to judge them. Only by the sacrifice of the blood of His only Son do we have the forgiveness of sins. If you reject that free gift of eternal life there is nothing between you and God's judgement. God is a JUST God and He has to judge sin. What an awesome sacrifice He made to take the judgement for our sins upon Himself and suffer what we should have to suffer. He loves us and He has placed before us life and death. We choose! Pride is your greatest enemy and pride is what made Lucifer fall. How stupid is it to stand in God's presense and deny Him and exalt yourself above Him. How much are men like Lucifer when they reject God when His presence and glory fills the earth? Are we stupid? I can answer that with a resound YES? I was stupid, but now I see because I put my PRIDE away. Pride makes people very stupid and that can be witnessed daily. Pride will cause you to do evil to the very ones you love most. Pride will cause you to choose hell over heaven. Pride is a lie of satan. Pride in self and intellect is a trickery of Satan. You think you know something and can judge God. Ask yourself this? What have you created? Have you given life to anything? Men have pride in their simple minded wisdom. God's Wisdom is far greater than man's wisdom. However, God's wisdom is available to those who ask of Him. Those who love their own wisdom and reject God are blinded! You must choose to take a step of faith to believe! Apart from Christ (the anointed one) Jesus will experience true death apart from Jesus. THe first death is nothing, but the second death is eternal. I pray that anyone who reads this will humble themselves before God and ask Him to show them truth and decide to believe when He presents truth to them. The Bible is without error and it takes a step of faith to say, "God I know you are able to preserve your Word in the Bible. I believe that you are able to use men over 1600 years to preserve your Word to us. I choose to humbly ask that Jesus save me and forgive me of my sins. I choose to make Jesus Lord of my life. In faith, I choose to believe you and what you say in the Bible. I accept Jesus as who you say He is and I ask that you lead me into all truth. In Jesus mighty name, a name above all names on earth, Amen.
