Author: Robert Cardwell (Hopeful)
Subject: a long time ago ... or, real glad you're still around

Memory Keywords: 1970-71(?), 911 from Nashville, all-nite drive, Tammy Wells (Debbie to some), girlfriend botched check-out, Mother Earth, lead guitarist, Brazilian grooves, Robert Cardwell, jammin' in the livin' room. Any bells ringin' yet?

You showed me one of your tunes: E minor, 3/4 time, McLaughlin-ish. That tune is now part of a medley on a Brazilian-esque jazz CD I played/produced 'bout 12 yrs. past (w/Charlie DeChant = horns w/Hall/Oates). Looked for you for publishing: zip. (Gave you credit, tho.) I never released it, so your cut is, uh, same as mine. Say 'hey' at the above address; I'll send you a copy. For your wall.

Your turn, James. Bated breath here.
