I must disagree with the majority on this one! Dreamflyer seems to have the right idea almost. I will bind almost anyone anywhere that I can and expect nothing for it! Why? Simple, I also run other characters that can not bind themselves and really appreciate it when I get a response to my shout for bind, and find it really annoying when I do not get a response when there are clearly characters in zone that can do this. I shout because I, personnaly, do not like being singled out as the only person in the zone that can help someone (ie. personal tell because I do not run anonomyous and all can tell my class and level) via use of the /tel option. Bind is a spell that everyone NEEDS, unlike SoW which is just a spell that people WANT. Hugh difference there. I have been known to leave the hunting area at times to bind some poor soul that has been asking for awhile. I have the ability and will use it to bind those that need it. SoW, on the other hand, depends on what I am doing. I have done the SoW for pay bit in West Karana with moderate success, but now just SoW when it is convienent ( I will usually NOT leave a hunt to do this, however ) and in most cases get paid for my trouble. If someone shouts for a SoW to help retreive their corpse - this is the rare time that I will leave a hunt - I will run to them to give it, I am a real sucker for a naked character running for their corpse.

I started a Barbarian Shaman because I thought it would be really neat to be able to buff and assist people in the game ( as well as buff and bind myself wherever I wanted ). I get enjoyment out of it and have even given over entire evenings to just hanging out in some zone ( One guard in Everfrost, Tower #2 in West Karana, Platform in North Ro, Pillar #2 in Oasis or Crossroads in Butcherblock are favorites of mine ), with all my buffs memorized, just bufing and healing folk after their battles. This is a real blast and if you haven't tried it yet do. The responses are amazing and usually you end up with a fair amount of cash as well!
