Siege Crafting/Ram/Siege Tower/Keep&Tower Repair Info.
To be able to craft and deploy the War Rams, Fortified War Rams and Siege Tents most commonly used in RvR today, you will only need a Siege Crafting and Wood level of 200, about 2 hours of your time and less than 300 Gold.
To make a War Ram, you need to make 3 Siege Rams, combine two of the Siege Rams into 1 Battle Ram, then combine the Battle Ram and remaining Siege Ram into a War Ram, Fortified War Rams are a bit more complicated but easy to do following your selected icon instructions, opposite click the icon for instructions, Rams are combined by selecting the appropriate icon from your Siege Crafting menus and placing on your Hot Bars; the same applies for deploying any Ram you’re holding, from the Deploy Ram menu move the Deploy War/Fortified Ram Icons to your Hot Bar.
Siege Tents are deployed by /using the Tent when in your back pack, on a designated Tent location near Major Keep or Tower locations, look for the pre-placed ground target marks, to use any Fortified War Ram a Siege Tent must be deployed near by, any Enemy Tent and Rubble must be destroyed in order to place your Tent on the same location.
Siege Towers require crafting level of 600, deployment of 1 will requite 200 Ironwood and 100 Alloy Metal, Tower locations are pre-designated ground targets near all Major keeps.
To set up your Hot Bar for crafting, simply select the Siege Craft Icon from you main menus and place it on the #1 slot of any clean Hot Bar, next make a MBuy macro [/macro buy100 /mbuy 100] and place this in the same Hot Bar below your main crafting icon, from the Siege Crafting Merchant select any item you wish to buy, pick it up and click the MBuy macro and you purchase 100 of these items, MBuy macros can be made for any amounts up to 200, however the 100 is all that is needed for this task.
To level your Siege Crafting select items under the Ram Components, followed by Arm Cushions then Pivots and Spring Arms, lastly by selecting the Palintone Ammunition requiring only 2 components to make, these being the lease costly items to make, always keep the item you are making Orange Con to you, Red can be used also if within 26 numbers of your current crafting level.
For the repair of Keeps/Towers and Doors you will need Woodworking skill of 100 per the level of the item repaired [IE] a level 1 tower can be repaired with a woodworking skill of 100, a level 2 tower 200 and so on, for repairing all levels of Keeps and Towers you will need to be 1000 in Woodworking [Cap is 1300].
To make a War Ram, you will need about 2 minutes and 115 Gold; every keep or tower Albion owns in N/F has a Siege Crafting Merchant available to purchase Ram Components and or Wood for door and keep/tower repair, once the Tower or Keep is Blue Con, as well, you can buy Siege Crafting Merchants in your house or you can find one the N/F side in Forrest Savage.
