Ill be off to sell it later today been doing so for oer 2 years always enjoy it==in that time completly homeless, I note some rain today, I have private health insurance due on Friday, been on the waitinglist public hospital system since Jan 2nd 2009, couldn't have survied it without Big Issues help.
Ive paid 2 months basic cover now==the next payment Friday March 11th will make 3==miniumum 6 months to claim, that will be quicker though in the end than public health.

Sadly the man who played Batman's butler Michael Gough, in the original tv series in the 60's Alfred and who was cast in Tim Burtons 1989 Batman, (Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland featured in issue 376 which is on sale now. Mia Wasikowska who is now doing Jane Eyre has died in London Saint Patricks Day Thursday 17/3/2011 aged 94.
I've paid 3 months private health insurance now, last payment Friday March 11th, the day of the Japanese earthquake,(4.56pm MLB time) 3 months to go now before I can claim, I found just the usual treatment my last isit to hospital on the 11/3==pat on the head swipe the card bill the taxpayer, usual rort, meanwhile I hae a serious health complaint, first saw them 2/1/2009.
I'll be selling the magazine again this weekend all of the profits will go towards private health.

As for Big Issue itself. My view an intelliegent article on unemployment, poverty for me would be along the lines of.
Unskilled
Casual employment, no permenancy in todays workforce, inability of people to finance themselves to buy rent sporadic income.
Single mothers etc Everything is a consultancy and an agency creaming a fee off the top.
This isn't political the whole workforce has become casual, you could make the same criticism of the Howard Govt as you can now the Gillard Govt
All permenent jobs in mining sector everywhere else is sporadic, working poor.
