$10. entry fee for contest. No admission fees to the Cruise. Queens will be the first, this is the inaugural event for both Contest & Cruise! Everyone is invited, no appearance requirements. 50's wear Contest will decide the 1st queens. No modeling, beauty scores!! No experience necessary. Just a great 50's outfit and the personality to make that great impression on the judges! And, of course, your good sportsmanship ;). This is a fun fundraiser, please share the info with your friends!

2010 Cruisin' the Capital Car Show
Queen of the Cruise

Jr. Queen of the Cruise

Wear your best 50's outfit. It can be vintage, reproduction, or put your "twist" on it.
Don your sock hop clothes, poodle skirt, Pink ladies gear, Car hop wear, or be original - just make it 50's!

Participants will be judged on: 1-10 originality/creativity, 1-10 personality, and 1-10 overall impression.
ALL that is required is above. Simple props that can not cause any harm can be used, but not needed. IE: Car hop tray with glued-on props, 45 rpm records, bowling bag, etc... Modeling is not required nor will it be judged. You can, however, make up a little routine to impress the judges with the above categories. Or you can do a small dance, or just stand there and show off your outfit. You are all beautiful - but it has nothing to do with the scoring - it is all about your outfit and the personality to pull it off!
All ages are welcome to participate! Queens are 16 years & up. Jr. Queens are 0-15 years.

Awards:
Queen: Embroidered Queen's sash, 4" tiara, medallion, and Avon gift.
Princess: Silk screened sash, 3" tiara, medallion, and Avon gift.
1st Alternate: Silk screened sash, 2" tiara, medallion, and Avon gift.
2nd Alternate: Silk screened sash, medallion, and Avon gift.
3rd Alternate: Silk screened sash, medallion, and Avon gift.

Jr Queen: Embroidered Queen's sash, 4" tiara, crowned Roxy Bear trophy, and Avon gift.
Princess: Silk screened sash, 3" tiara, crowned Roxy Bear trophy, and Avon gift.
1st Alternate: Silk screened sash, 2" tiara, crowned Roxy Bear trophy, and Avon gift.
2nd Alternate: Silk screened sash, crowned Roxy Bear trophy, and Avon gift.
3rd Alternate: Silk screened sash, crowned Roxy Bear trophy, and Avon gift.

ALL entrants will receive a small thank you gift.
More gifts/prizes may be added to the above; there will not be less.
Director reserves the right to adjust the ages to make it most fair for the participants.

Providing your contact info gives us the ability to send you info on next year's event! The above info is needed especially if you send your payment through the mail or paypal. Any mailed payments that include a check must be received by June 21st. It is suggested that nothing be mailed after Monday, June 21st. Paypal accepted through preregistration deadline of 12 noon (EST), Friday, June 25th. NO echecks will be accepted. If you send paypal as service, include the 4% paypal fees. You can send as a gift with no fees. Email first with any questions. Email or mail the entry form with your payment for preregistration. You can also request a lineup position (beginning, middle, end) if you preregister. We will do our best to get you in the position you request!

Any/All Assistants, Staff, Employees, and/or Family of those aforementioned will not be held responsible for theft or loss of items, injury or accident at the Cruise &/or Queens Contest or during transportation to or from the same. I understand that the director reserves the right to revise the Contest paperwork if deemed necessary and will not be responsible for repairing/replacing awards if they become damaged after presenting to the winners. I am aware that the trophies, crowns, bears, are not toys and that the bears could present a choking hazard to younger children. I understand that good sportsmanship is a must and that I/my child could be disqualified without with refund if poor sportsmanship is observed. Please do not take any photos or video of any other entrants without the entrant's (over 18) or parents' permission. I understand any video or photos taken by Rockwell Productions will be for the sole use of promotional use for the contest &/or Cruise. Let's have a fun time at the Cruise and the Contest!
