Date Posted: 13:29:59 06/13/11 Mon The St. Martin Parish Farm Bureau Women’s Committee will be holding its annual Queen’s Contest on Saturday, AUGUST 6, 2011 at the Breaux Bridge Farm Bureau office located at 1106 Grand Point Road. The contest is open to all single females between the ages of 16 to 19. MUST BE A RESIDENT OF ST. MARTIN PARISH. You do not have to be a member of Farm Bureau to compete. A $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to the queen at the end of her reign. Our queen will be required to attend several fairs and festivals throughout Louisiana. Our queen will also be required to compete at a state level at the annual Louisiana Farm Bureau Convention held in New Orleans in June, 2012. She will also have an opportunity to compete at the Louisiana Sugarcane Festival in New Iberia, Louisiana. Entry fee is $35.00. Entry forms can be picked up at the Breaux Bridge or St. Martinville Farm Bureau offices.
