Today's meeting on OLNG Lease Finalizationþ
From: K C PATRICK MC GEE (kc2patrick@q.com)

Please add this to the "Public Record" on today's discussion and deliberation on PofA-OLNG Lease Settlement

OK, today is the day for our "Port Commission"
to commit our butts, for 30 years, to the continued appearance, as some are saying, of outright extortion from East Coast controlled, Oregon LNG, or waterever its latest iteration, to allow it to control 90+ acres of our State Lands for a proposed Liquefied Natural Gas Receiving and Storage Terminal located at the tip of Skipanon Peninsula for up to 60 years in what some would consider a questionable lease and a bungled, poorly though-out deal to nobody's benefit but Peter Hansenm and his OLNG colleagues.

So far OLNG's bullying tactics have made all blink and bend to its will in coming to a final agreement but, now this Energy Speculator/Profiteer wants to attempt to add a 1000 foot buffer aroung the site with a "First Right of Refusal Clause" added to the lease to enure OLNG controls even more of "OUR" public land administered by this "Port".

My answer to this final straw is to encourage all involved at The Port of Astoria, serving in the trust of those they are pledged to represent, the Citizens of Clatsop County and the Lower Columbia River, to say Hell No!.....Hell No! and again Hell No! to this disgrace being perpetrated against them, lay this specific issue on the table and throw this port facility to the mercy of The State of Oregon to step forward in force, Oregon Business Development Department(Port Overseer) Secretary of State, Oregon DSL, Department of Justice, Oregon Attorney General, whatever it takes to mediate, arbitrate and settle this issue once and for all so PofA can move forward, all in a positive direction to the benefit of all of us and do it now!

I know the threat of suit weighs heavy but, so does tyranny and that property on "The Skipanon Peninsula" is too valuable to allow its use to be limited and locked by a company of this ilk and especially in light of its(OLNG) recent tactics and conduct and at that a 1000 foot buffer zone added and that property's disposition controlled by OLNG?

I would rather us all suffer a lawsuit than you all serving in our trust, subject us to this kind of future with this company

Once again....Hell No!....Hell No!.....Hell No!

Thank You,
Patrick McGee
