I would avoid 1/2 marks as I have been to a few exams and listened to candidates when they come out and they were all told not to use 1/2 marks. I think what you did sounds correct and you really just need to be extremely confident when answering any questions and do not doubt yourself and they are trying to see how you act under pressure, which sometimes judging can be. -- Irish Dance Adjudicator Hopefuls

      - Agreed. I think a one on one dialogue about how your approach to judging would almost be more effective. Or implement a standard scoring system. Yes I do think anyone has the opportunity to pass on the day. This is a fact. Unfortunately I am unable to answer your question re your spacing as this would make sense and sounds like you did the correct thing. It does seem that each examiner has their own opinion on marking and until we can get a definite answer on this it is just guess work and luck. (NT) -- Hope you pass next time, 21:39:38 04/10/10 Sat
- Thanks. It might not have been this one thing that I didn't pass on; but just a comment that they didn't take much off for. You don't really know for sure what the big thing was.
