in terms of the written and music. For the rest, if you can audit a feis and practice judge, that would be great. practice that as much as you can. I live in an area where I don't have other ADs or TCs and so finding a mentor is difficult. Even so, I go to feiseanna and sit and judge a competition from the audience. I then compare my results with the official results. Also, since I am in the US and most feiseanna use feisworx where I am from, I can see comments a few days after the feis for all competitions and see if they line up with my thoughts.
