平心討論，是我最希望大家做的事。

捐款給學校協助發展、為慈善團體籌款和售賣紀念品是三項不同的事工，也不應混為一談。

但三件事情都有一個共通點，就是只可鼓勵，不能強逼。

捐款協助學校發展，每間校情不同，需求自不一樣。款項來源，不外乎校友、家長和校外商業機構。通常，有明確的用途和能說明確切的需要，籌得的款項便愈多。至於捐給誰，誰更需要，那要由捐款者決定。正如今次基金呼籲校友捐款，但接著十二月的音樂會也呼籲校友贊助，校友可能兩項活動都支持，也可能只支持其中一項，這便是交由校友去決定。當然，如果兩項籌款的日期不是那麼接近，效果可能會更好。

為慈善團體籌款，則是教育學生樂於助人的好機會，故也值得鼓勵，次數多少也不拘，總之隨緣樂助。觀瑪四十周年校慶步行籌款及音樂會也分別為中大宗教教育及公益金籌款，則是一個校慶籌款和慈善籌款合一的一個例子。

至於售賣紀念品，則屬紀念意義，故校慶會出，學生會及校友會也可以出，只要不是強逼要買，發行單位自負盈虧，哪也不見得有甚麼問題。

因此，如果同學了解學校籌款和售賣活動的來龍去脈，可能不滿的情緒會略為緩和。

其實我希望各位同學都可以開心見誠向學校客觀地反映意見，幫助學校一天比一天進步，因為學校是屬於每一位 Xaverian 的。
