一群中大校友今天在報章刊登廣告，支持將女神像永久放置在校園內，並向校方提出五項具體要求，包括公開早前行政與計劃委員會的討論內容，並詳細說明拒絕擺放的理據。

聯署的校友多為畢業於八十年代的學生，包括公民黨秘書長陳家洛及民主黨中委馮偉光等人。他們要求中大在處理新民主女神像的決策過程要民主化和透明化，讓中大師生、職員及校友參與，並向社會大眾交代。

他們提出的其餘四項要求尚有：成立一個由中大師生、職員及校友組成的小組，參與籌劃及執行永久放置的事宜；為尊重新民主女神像並確保置放安全，校長應立即與中大學生會商討有關鞏固工程；以及落實校政開放，加強決策透明度及管理層問責性等
