Subject: Robin I hope it is Ok That I post this. I just want everyone to hug their Kids and be thankful you have them!

I am asking, actually begging all of our contestants and Vendors to please bring one or two raffle baskets to the Easter Pageant.

Originally I sent out an e-mail regarding loosing Karen Reville a terrific pageant mom/Director who lost her life with a long battler of Cancer December 23rd.

Since announcing the basket raffle another tragedy has occurred in our pageant family. The Clouse family lost seven children Tuesday March 8th in a horrifying fire. Three of their daughters Hannah, Christina and Leah participated in Heavenly Angels Pageants along with their Cousin Autumn Albright. Autumn’s mom (their Aunt) Carolyn Albright would bring the three girls to pageants with Autumn and have them compete. They were a very loving sweet family! Leah was the only child to survive.

It is very heartbreaking to loose one child in a horrific accident, I cannot imagine loosing seven. Please open your hearts and bring two baskets to be raffled off. The monies collected will be divided and given to the American Cancer Society in Memory of Karen and to the Clouse family for expenses. A representative from each family will be at the pageant. Please show your love and support to these loving families by not only donating baskets but also buying raffle tickets to raise money for them. I am so honored to have such amazing Pageant Families, Vendors and staff. Without all of you we would not have been able to raise $4,000 for the Tavares Family this Past November.

If you need basket ideas please see list below……. You do not need to sign up Please just bring them with you.

SOUTHWEST MADISON TOWNSHIP, PERRY COUNTY
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an early morning house fire that has claimed the lives of 7 children in Perry County. The fire broke out just after 10 p.m. at a house on Madison Road in Southwest Madison Township. A husband and wife live in the farmhouse with their 8 children.

Shortly after 10 p.m., the father left the house to deliver milk in his milk truck, while the mother was inside the family's barn milking cows. The couple's 3 year old daughter ran into the barn to alert the mother she saw smoke. Troopers say the mother tried unsuccessfully to get inside the home after seeing the flames. She ran to a neighbor's house, but no one answered. She was able to call 911 from a second neighbor's home.

"Mr. Clouse was talking to me earlier and said that they are probably going to have nightmares for some time to come," said family friend Mike Trout. He identified the parents as Theodore and Janelle Clouse.

Fire crews say they arrived to the home fully engulfed. After putting out the fire they found the bodies of 7 children: Christina Clouse, 11, Isabel Clouse,9, Brady Clouse, 7, Hannah Clouse, 6, Heidi Clouse, 4, Maranda Clouse, 2, and 7-month-old Samantha Clouse . The surviving sibling is the 3 year old girl who alerted her mother.

"He appeared to be absolutely distraught as anyone can imagine. His seven children are inside the residence and he knew that they perished so that makes it even harder to take for him," said Trooper Tom Pinkerton, Pennsylvania State Police.

"He always talked about his children. He really loved these children and I am sure Janelle did too. They were good children. You could see them helping out around the farm," said Trout.

The Perry County coroner has ruled smoke inhalation as the cause of death in all 7 children and no autopsy will be performed. State Police Fire Marshall’s are investigating the cause of the fire.
