August 28th - 29th 2010 at The Sheraton Bradley Hotel in Windsor Locks, CT

Scoring
Evening Wear: 40%
Interview: 40%
Introduction: 10%
Community Involvement: 10%


Evening Wear: This is the most elegant part of the pageant. You choose an evening gown that fits your personality and makes you look the best. You’re being judged on poise, confidence, grooming, and overall appeal.

Interview: This part of the competition you meet the judges and talk about your accomplishments, hobbies and current events. You should wear what you would wear to a job interview. Each contestant meets with each judge one on one. The judges are looking for someone who is articulate, well rounded, accomplished, and has a great personality.

Introduction: This part of competition you get let the audience know a little bit about yourself. You have 20 seconds and can say whatever you want. Good things to talk about would be your hobbies, accomplishments, or where you are from. This is done after opening number, so you will be your opening number outfit. You’re being judged on how well you can publically speak and your personality.

Community Involvement: Is judged when you’re in interview. We want a queen that is involved in her community. So we want to know about your volunteer work and organizations you are involved with.
