This is a neat observation. 2004/2005 is about the time they started the ballot I believe, so it would make sense that the r/u positioning within the top 5 is a bit arbitrary lately. I also attribute the teen program feeding new women into the miss division almost annually, which can throw results off year-to-year. I personally love it as it makes everything more suspenseful, although I do feel for the 1st r/u who feels that pressure or fear of 'the curse'! -- Miss Delaware Forum
