I would think Newports or Marlboro Menthol. I hope at least they are 100's. Started the girls with those right from the get go. One odd thing. I mentioned the smoke curling off the end of the cig. But didn't think much about it. Days later the youngest wants to show me something. She was smoking at the kitchen table and took an empty drinking cup upside down and was using it to catch the smoke from the lit end of her cig. Took a big drag, then shoved the cup over her mouth and nose and breathed it in with the drag she just took! With her face during the exhale I could tell it burned a little and then a bit of a cough. But she smiled and was so proud. See dad, now it doesn't get wasted! It was a bit much to do for the whole cig.Got her sister to try it too. Mostly it was kind of a thing they would do sometimes. Especially if they had not smoked in awhile and needed an extra hit of that nicotine. Moved them into Newport 100's when they were getting close to that pack a day mark. Made it clear they were moving up as nicotine addicts and were expected to smoke them just the same at the lights. I got them each a short cigarette holder and had them practice in the mirror so they could get less awkward with them. The first couple of days those packs of Newports I could tell the higher nicotine level was hitting them good. On a good hit their faces would get a blank look and their body would twitch for a second. As far as increasing I started what I like to call "Smoking Challenges" once a week. With the 2 of them it was perfect. I would offer a prize to the one that could smoke a cig from light up down to the filter the fastest. The older one had the advantage at first and won the first 3 times. But this only made winning more important to the younger one and I caught her practicing all week to beat her sister. Of course having lost only pushed the older one to try harder. And you can see how this changed into who can smoke the most cigs in a day challenge sometimes. I made the prizes something that they really wanted. So even on the non challenge days they were practicing to beat the other but also beginning to get really need the level of nicotine they were just slamming down. Trying to see what else I could try I cut 3/4 of the filter off two Newports and stuck them in their cigarette holders. That's something you really need to try. Well, I hope your feeling properly inspired Amy. I would love to hear about your progress in increasing them. Where about do you live?
