Subject: Re: Ahhton Digital problems

I purchased the Ashton Digital Maximate 420 and the
problems I have experienced are:

1. The battery would never fully charge. It would show a full charge and when I ran the computer on battery power it would die out in less that 5 minutes. The Li-Ion battery is not suppose to develop a memory in it and following the advice on the web page, I let it discharge and now it is completely dead.

2. The memory that was installed is below the level they advertised, ie. poor quality of memory used. and the same case with the hard drive.

3. The hard drive is getting many bad sectors that the overall capicity has been reduced.
