Subject: Olivetti echos p120e help

hi all!
i just bought an olivetti echos p120e and this is my first experience with laptops. i installed dos6.22 and over this win95 osr2. the computer gets hot. i read this is quite normal. but after running some videoclips (just to see what can do the machine) i started to get blue screens. after a while it worked well again, but still being hot.
my question is: how can i know if this fact (getting hot) is the normal situation or it's a pathological one? or how much is normal and how much pathological?
