Just walk around the holy-symbol area until you find a room with metal stairs. Climb these stairs and walk around the balcony until you come to a metal chute. Jump on this and you'll end up in a yard with a wooden shed. Shoor a rope arrow into the shed and climb onto the roof where the candle is.
CAUTION: Remember that when you are walking around St.Jennings (I think that's what this place is called) you are walking on METAL. Some haunts and zombies occasionally go through here and you'll probably get screwed if you get corrnered on the balcony by a haunt (it happened to me several times!)
