Garrett is indeed an ideal character for a novel.

By the way, Garret Jax is one of my favourite literary personalities. The Wishsong of Shannara by Terry Brooks is one of the best plots I have ever read. A battle of the two Garrets would indeed be interesting... though I fear our hero the thief would not emerge victorious.
