Subject: Doubles tourney - Highland bowl personal results...

Well, Ski and I started our journey to obtaining a Duckpin average today at Highland Bowl in Cheshire..

We bowled a double shift in the doubles tourney held this weekend, which is the "preseason" to the CT Duckpin Event Series..

For having 17 lifetime duckpin games under our belts over the last 18 months we didn't do too bad...

The first shift was our better one, I missed the 7 pin for a 10 box in the final frame which would have given us an even 900 scratch..

Ski hit 435 and I had 464..

In the 2nd shift Ski had 399 and I had 395..

Our 899 was the 2nd highest scratch total bowled all day!

Only 15 more games until we have actual sanctioned usable averages...
