Subject: Greetings to CZ

We were with Benji and his mom while PJ was in the hospital.

CZ, I realized I truly care for PJ and love him like a brother. When we were told he had issues with the anesthesia and wasn't waking up, I just lost it and went hysterical. The thought of losing him and not having him in my life was terrible.

Benji's new friend, Colby, has been occasionally bringing around these twin guys named Derek and Dylan. We play video games with each other. They are really nice to me. They have lots of questions about my lifestyle and my father but it is all in curiosity and not in malice. I think they are going to be good friends for me. They are 14 and are normally sort of quiet boys. It amazes me how accepting kids are about my lifestyle. I guess the fact that I am not stereotypical or threatening helps.

Austin has asked me to dinner for Valentine's Day. I think he is going to suggest that we become a couple. I am excited but scared too. I got him a gift. It is a teddy bear holding a heart. I hope it is OK. All of the guys are OK with Austin and me being together. Pat tells me to just be careful and Karen says she likes Austin but it will be an adjustment for her but I have her support but she cautions me about the age difference. I know everyone said to wait but I think I want to do it.

I know my father will go berserk if he finds out, and he will. This will make me "official" in his eyes.

Looks like we might get a little snow tomorrow.

I want to ask you a question and I know you may not be able to answer considering your position. I know government employees have to be careful. We hear bad things about Dilma Rouseff. Is she truly a bad leader? Are your Presidents popularly elected or do you have some other system? If she is indeed a problem, when will her term be up?

I am not old enough to vote (US law requires age 18) but I follow things. I am not a personal fan of Mr. Obama and he is up for re-election this year. All of the remaining candidates in the opposing party are also distasteful to me mostly because of their stance against homosexuality. I do not agree with Mr. Obama's economic policies or his apparent disregard for the Constitution. I feel our country is destined for hopelessness for the next four years. I guess it is good I can't vote because I really do not know what I would do. Do you have an opinion of US politics?

I just wanted to catch up with you.

I hope you are well.

Not sure if we are allowed to talk about politics on here. It is one thing to disagree with the president on his economic policies. However, it is a pretty strong charge to say that he disregards the constitution. Why do you think he has done this? I think he has done a lot while he has been in office, while at the same time he has had to deal with the people who question if he is even an American citizen. The economy has gotten a lot better. I remember going on an overseas trip during the election and being worried the bank that issued my credit card might go out of business

Hey, Daniel!

I suppose political discussions here are OK. Aferall, I brought it up.

I think the great thing about our country is that we can all have our personal opinions and we are free to express them. I think it appears from your question that you and I are destined to disagree politically and I think that is OK. In a great society, we can disagree without being disagreeable.

I doubt that any answer I give is going to convince you to think or feel differently. Equally as true is that any rebuttal or response that you would return would be unlikely to change my opinion.

So, with that said, let us just agree to disagree and move on.

I wish you well.

Hi my dear friend,

I have been missing you and I owe you an apology for not answering you before.

First, you are going to give a big step with Austin, but if you are confident that both of you can abide to the rules imposed by law go ahead and I wish you two to be very happy. Listen to Mr. Patīs advices and also to Mrs Karen's. Be cautious, but you deserve very much to be happy and have someone for you. Regarding your father, it would be good if he knows about this only later, because this will mean a final definition for him. Remember he can make a legal move to take you from the custody of Mr Pat and Mrs Karen.

I hope you and Austin have a great Valentine day, that you can enjoy it to the best.

About our President Dilma Roussef in my opinion as a citizen, not as a judge, she is doing really fine. Brazil's worst problem is its endemic corruption in all levels of government and she is really fighting against it, she already fired seven ministers indicated by the parties who support her. Probably you are listening bad things about her because in foreign politics she is not very much aligned with USA or England, and I think that when Mr Obama was in Brazil the chemistry between them was not good.

She is a really hard worker and she is a great manager of the country, an activity she had already been doing during the previous government. Of course she makes mistakes like when visiting Cuba she did not mention human rights but in some way attacked the Guantanamo prison. This was very wrong because if you are for the human rights you must be in all terms, not just in those which are convenient for you. She has three more years of mandate and I believe she will be reelected if our economy continues to grow and improve like it is now.

Lets try to talk more. I want to know how things will evolute between you and Austin and remember, I am always here for you. You are really important to me, believe me.

Take care

CZ

Hey, thanks for replying!

I think you saw that Austin did ask.

There has been dome more problems with my father - look for the "It was bad" post.

Thanks for clarifying about Mrs. Rouseff. I do gather that perhaps your countrymen do not find our current president very favorable.

I will keep you updated about Austin!
