Hi Guys,

Nice sentiments Mark, Drew, Jake & Sean. Just finished a message to PJ myself to wish him a great senior year. What year in school will you 4 be starting in September?

What's with the suggested advice about the principal's office? Are you implying that PJ has a history of school mischief that might land him in the office for discipline OR is that based on experiences you 4 have had previously with your principal & discipline?

That notion of...discomfort to the seat of your pants...is something sounding more like the 60s & 70s when I was in school and the paddle still reigned. I would think that notion has been outlawed in most districts now or am I losing something in translation that PJ's school or the one you 4 attend are private or charter schools that still allow cp for school transgressions.

I saw in PJ's reply he figures on avoiding a trip to the office as one would expect in a senior year student. Let's hope all of you can avoid such confrontations with the principal even if it's a 'talking to' as you mentioned.

To each of you, have a great new school year, even if for some it's still a month away.

Posted a message earlier but noticed computer problems at end so apparently didn't get sent.

To Mark, Drew, Sean and Jake...that's a really nice gesture to wish PJ and friends a good school year. You say your new year does not begin until after Labor Day. Know it is a month early still but allow me to wish you guys a great school year too. What year will it be for you?

You reference to PJ not wanting to go to the office and if he does, it might be for more than a 'talking to' and may result in some 'seat discomfort'. We had the school paddle in my day back in the 60s & 70s. Is that what you are suggesting might happen? Does the paddle still exist at your school or think it might at PJ's? Thought the paddle was outlawed now in most districts. Hope PJ and all you guys behave and never have to face the principal or paddle this year--if such option does still exist.

Again, have a great new school year.
