Subject: A couple of questions for everyone Author: Lucy [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:53:46 01/14/12 Sat I was just reading some posts from different people and got wondering about a couple of odd things, and I wondered what different people thought about them. So here goes. 1. Marcus posted about Max getting spanked by Gages mum, and I think that that sort of thing has happened before. I also know some other people have been in that situation, and I was curious about it. I just can't imagine any of my friend's parents punishing me if I got in trouble or in fact anyone outside my close family, or my parents spanking any of my friends. I wonder if its a local thing, like in places where they have spanking in school and are used to kids being spanked not by their parents it seems natural. What do people think. 2. PJ posted about him and Mark W. getting paddles by PJ's mum, and I wondered about the differences in being spanked by different parents or other people. Are there major differences for people? Is one parent stricter than the other? Do you things would be different if you were a girl rather than a boy or vice versa? What about if you only lived with one of your parents? I think it depends on the parents an their relationships and on the kids' relationship with the other parents. Rat's parents and Chris' dad have permission to spank me but have never needed to exercise it. However if I were in their care / control and I earned a spanking I would accept their authority and their spanking because I trust them and I like them. I have been spanked at school. Caleb has been spanked by Rat's Dad and he will come on and talk about it. My Dad has spanked Rat, Chris and Benji. Mom has spanked Rat, Benji and Turtle. All was done with the full permission of the respective parents. So, it all seems to be about the degree of relationship and friendship between the parents and the degree of the relationship between the kid and the spanker. I am also sure cultural and regional norms and mores play a role. The rest of the herd: Benji's mom - doesn't spank but if she did she would have permission over Caleb, Mark and I and Turtle; Turtle's parents - has permission over Benji and, if Caleb, Mark or I were there and an issue came up a phone call to Mom or Dad would be all that was needed for us to have a sore bottom; Colby's parents - no permissions exists but it is because our families do not know each other. Mark W. is a different sort of case. His own parents do not have authority to spank him but mine do as does Rat's Dad. As far as others on here, you know about Marcus and Max and Gage and Suri and the twins. They hopefully will tell you more. Mark the Athlete and Drew, Jake and Sean all have mutual permissions among their parents and I believe it has been exercised. I know Mark says all of their dads are good friends. Alex, Samantha and Jordan have talked about spankings from aunts and uncles. Bradley and Cooper's fathers have mutual permissions too. Again, hopefully you can get information from these others. Not sure what role regional norms play in all of that. My herd is in Middle Tennessee. Marcus and Max and company are in Southern Illinois. Alex, Samantha and Jordan are in the New York City Metro area. Bradley and Cooper are in the Ozark Region of SW Missouri and Mark and his herd are not allowed to give their location. Most of the kids I mentioned are located in more conservative and "religious" regions of the USA but that is not an exclusive fact as Alex, Samantha and Jordan live in the liberal NorthEast. 2. As far as differences among parents: Dad is more talkative and calmer. However he usually spanks harder and longer but Mom has given him a run for his money a few times. Dad's aftercare is gentle and very involved. Mom's aftercare is, well, usually not really there. Dad always spanks on the bare butt. Mom wants us in underwear, thin shorts or pj's. We are older mature males and she does not wish to view our "personal property." Given a choice, I would take a spanking from Dad over Mom anytime. Sure Dad's is probably going to hurt more but his aftercare is wonderful and I really love the closeness with him. If we were female, Dad would not touch us. It is just his thing. Mom would be the exclusive spanker if we were girls. His Dad was like that. Grandad never spanked Aunt Darla, my grandmother did it. As far as if we only lived with one parent, hard to say. I guess whoever had us would do it. Before Turtle's mom married, his Grandfather spanked him but now his step-dad does it. Benji's mom doesn't spank and Uncle Frank rarely did it either. When Benji lived with us, Dad or Mom would spank him. When he moved out with just his mom, Grandad would do the honors while he was still alive. Now that Grandad has passed, Benji is delivered to my Dad for spanking. Aunt Darla has no problem with Benji being spanked she just can't bring herself to do it. Chris' parents are divorced. His mom and step dad do not have custody but when he visits, they do not spank him. Chris' dad has custody and he does spank. So, it really seems to vary. Lucy, this is an excellent discussion topic and I hope you get lots of responses. I will chase Caleb on here in a minute to give his thoughts. Mark is sleeping and so is Turtle (he is here tonight.) The schools where we live can't spank. And my parents don't like the idea of someone other than a relative spanking us, especially my mom. She doesn't think it's another parents place to spank someone elses kids. I have been spanked by my Aunt Kimberly before and once by my Uncle Matt. But mostly it's from my mom or dad. I wouldn't say that one of my parents is stricter than the other. They both spank hard. Me and my brothers get most of our spankings from our mom but that's because she is a stay at home mom now. Even when she was working she spanked us more than our dad. She has made us wait in our room before for dad to come home to deal with us. That is really no fun. But she takes care of it herself most of the time. My dad has spanked me many times though. In fact my last 2 spankings were from my dad. I deserved them both that's for sure. The last time he spanked me before that was when I was 11. I think it is different for girls mostly though. My brothers get spanked more than I do but part of that is because I'm older now and I think I behave better too. But I do know that if I like mess up bad enough I can get spanked again. I've come close a few times since my last one. And yes we live in the "liberal" Northeast US. I don't know what difference that makes other than we don't talk about it as much as others seem to. It's not really as liberal as some people think around here. We know of some of our friends who get spankings. You have to like be kind of careful when you talk about it though because there is an antispanking crowd around here. But my parents say that there are probably more parents around here who spank than what you might think. We just don't like talk about it much. So this is an interesting discussion. But I can remember most of them. My Aunt Kimberly is my mom's sister. She and my Uncle Matt and our cousins Josh and Taylor live near us. They are twins and are 13. They are a month younger than my brother Alex. I got I think 3 or 4 spankings from Aunt Kimberly mostly when I was little. It was just normal stuff that little kids get in trouble for. The worst one I got from here was when she was watching us one day during the summer while my mom was at work. Aunt Kimberly took us to the park near our neighborhood and me and Taylor wandered off without telling her. Well, actually we had asked if we could go to another part of the park to play. We were getting tired of the boys and wanted to be by ourselves. She said no though and I guess she was like really frantic when she couldn't find us. I guess I was around 8 at the time so Taylor was 7. Well she found us alright and took us all home and lit up our bare tushys' but good. I remember how hard she spanked and it was just her hand but it hurt. I don't know who cried harder me or Taylor. I am a big baby when I know I'm going to get spanked and I was crying pretty hard even before it was my turn. She uses a hairbrush on my cousins most of the time and I've had that from her. It's worse that the paddle I think. The only spanking I got from my Uncle Matt was when I was 8 or 9 I think. We were over at their house and I talked back to him but I can't remember what it was about. The only people that our parents let babysit us are grownups they know real good from church or who live right round where we live. My Mom watchs kids from around here quite a bit so people know how she does stuff and they know shes a great Mom and they just trust her to treat their kids right and she does. Far as Mom and Dad spanking us goes Mom spanks us more than Dad cause she stays home with us. Dad spanks harder and he uses a paddle sometimes and that hurts bad. Mom dont spank real hard but she sure spanks longer. Mom uses her hand or a flyswatter. The swatter dont hurt as bad at first but it sure starts burnin and stingin during a long spanking! I always was very well-behaved when at a friend's house because some of them were quite strict with their own kids, so I didn't want to press my luck. Also, I would have been very ashamed if their parents ever had to just scold me. Never got into trouble with Aunts or Uncles either for the same reason. I would have been very embarrassed to have them see me behave badly. Their kids were well-behaved, too... so since they weren't breaking any rules there was no temptation for me to do so either.
