First of all my apologies to this forum. I have not done due diligence and I have allowed a falsehood to be perpetuated among us. My brother was first to have suspicion and then I began to take notice. It is also my belief that others have had their suspicions too. The other members may or may not choose to be known and I think some of them will be making or have already made their own posts.

I have let what I assumed was an almost two year friendship endanger the integrity of this forum. This will come especially hard to Brooks, Tanner, CZ, and KB as I know you all have a strong affinity for the person in question. I too am very close and partial to this person.

I am now openly calling out Mark "The Athlete." Mark, the gig is up! Through the encouragement of others, I have done some quick math.

Whereas, the accomplishments of your teams across three sports was becoming questionable, the numbers (provided by you) tell the truth. I have taken the liberty of sharing what the numbers reveal in a reply to some of your posts.

Let's be realistic. There are four players at a high school somewhere in the USA. These four players participate in football, basketball, and baseball. OK, that is believable. The guys like sports.

These same four guys score all of, the majority of, or in some bizarre cases, more than all of the points/runs in a game. One of those guys just happens to ALWAYS be the top scorer (unless of course he has the flu.) These four kids have undefeated/winning records in these sports for almost 2 years running. There are even state titles for their teams, well, more specifically, to these four athletes. Wow! That would certainly draw some attention, don't you think? There is NOTHING on line, in the media, or in magazines covering this wonderful accomplishment. That is certainly a well kept secret.

Mark, I hope this actually relieves you as you no longer need to keep reporting your unreal sporting accomplishments.

Buddy, let's just put this behind us, swallow hard, eat some crow and move on. As Louisa said, we won't judge you. It is OK that maybe you all lose and maybe don't even have a winning record. Heck, it is even OK if you don't play at all. I say today is the day of a new beginning.

Mark, you don't realize this but your falsified results dim the REAL results of other athletes like Brooks, Tanner, Wyatt, and Louisa.

Mark, this has been a rough weekend for you - I realize that.

We are ALL an accepting and forgiving lot. I for one am ready to move forward with the REAL Mark A.

I have suggested to the moderator that no more posts concerning your game results be approved.

Why did I do this? Believe it or not, mostly for Mark. He can now breathe easy now that this is out in the open. I also think we need to function in an atmosphere of relative honesty. True, there are things that we all must keep secret or alter in the name of personal safety. A game result is not one of them.

All of you are going to have your opinion of what I just did. I also realize that my action may have cost me the friendship of some of you. Some of you may even leave the group over it. I hope not but it is a risk I had to take. I feel responsible for some of this as I encouraged Mark through replies and congratulatory messages and challenges.

Mark, truly, I love you brother. I am still here for you even though I am sure you don't see it right now.

We have all heard this but it is true, especially in this situation. This hurts me more than it hurts you.

-Patterson James, Jr.

Dear PJ,

Sorry you feel so harsh against me and Drew, Jake, Sean and Sean, for the accomplishments of our basketball this season, so far with 25-0 record and a FIRST PLACE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP!

You might recall, or maybe you don't, last year we had to share a basketball FIRST PLACE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP with another school and ended the season losing TWO GAMES! One was in the regular season and one in the play-offs!

THAT WAS NOT AN UNDEFEATED YEAR, to correct you to say we were undefeated in the post you made, 3-4-2012.

This year we have a different Coach and a different team, and this coach built this season on us to improve from the previous Coach and year of the two losses last year!

Haven't we so far improved THIS SEASON WITH NO LOSSES? We gone undefeated in regular season of play and this week have our FIRST GAME in District PLay-off in the tournament run to reach the State Title PLay-off games in a couple of weeks away?

You mentioned football...

Same was for football the previous year 2010, that was NOT and undefeated season, which I wished it had been! This 2011 year was different, different coach and team and built on with other players scoring, besides: Mark, Drew, Jake and Sean!

I realize you haven't played school organized sports, and know how coaches make teams, seek and use players to build a winning team with or hope to anyone!

You learned some of that with your football team this year, you first year you played high school football and your coach saw what kind of a player you could be as a wide receiver and relied on you PJ and saw what a great kicker Mark W.was and would be to have on the team to help win those games that you did, besides other players on your team, didn't he? He must have done something right to "discover" YOU and Mark W. to see your talents or he wouldn't have played you AS MUCH AND DID, RIGHT?

I was so proud of YOU and MARK W. and PJ, STILL I AM, and you asked my advice IF YOU SHOULD GO OUT FOR THE TEAM, besides making that decision on your own and with Julie's brother encouraging this!

To remind you, too, it was YOU who encouraged me to post sports scores last year and again this year for football and basketball, baseball and wanted to encourage other forum members to do so as well, which they did!

Might I ask, ON TANNER'S BEHALF AND HIS BASKETBALL TEAM THIS SEASON, why you and others aren't challenging him and his first place team so far, for a winning season they have been having so far?

In the thread:

Hoopsters Win 32-25 on 2-24-2012 posted by Mark the Athlete, Drew, Jake and Sean you will find that on
Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 by Tanner that he posted that his basketball team this season are: 21-1 so far, and still playing this week in regional play-offs towards a STATE TITLE berth?

Why didn't you or others complain and CHALLENGE him and his team to be unreal as you seem NOW that the Hoopsters seem to be in your eyes?

As for media attention, for both the HOOPSTERS and Tanner's team, we've been getting the attention to prove we are real teams and members scoring this year, AGAIN!

Speaking of that: TANNER IS THE LEADING SCORER ON HIS TEAM THIS SEASON FOR EVERY GAME! ARE YOU CHALLENGING HIM THAT HE ISN'T?

I guess you missed not READING THIS IN THE FORUM, about Tanner's games, and YOU WANTED TANNER TO POST HIS GAMES so you and others could read about them?

Infact, you wanted any athletes to post game results, including TURTLE, BENJI, BROOKS, WYATT, and any others in this forum!

WHY NOW ARE YOU ASKING AND INSISTING THAT THE MODERATOR NOT POST HOOPSTERS GAMES RESULTS ANYMORE?

WHY ASK THIS NOW?

This shouldn't be approved JUST BECAUSE YOU ASK IT TO BE, AND OTHERS YOU ASK TO SUPPORT YOU ON THIS!

Does this mean then that YOU DON'T want Mark W., Benji, Turtle, Lousia, Tanner, Brooks, and Wyatt's sports games posted anymore, and I hope I haven't forgotten any other athletes in the forum and if I have I apologize; so they don't post any more game results in the future and especially in THE ASSOCIATED FORUM which you mentioned there was a Sports Section that YOU had been made special for the ATHLETES in MIND!

PJ, I will include you to post game results too, when you find a sport to play, and I know you will find one as I know you have talent to play sports!

Why all of a sudden this has to come about?

WHY ARE YOU UPSET?

If like other threads posted in the forums that someone sees and they don't care to read about, nobody has to read anyone's game results that are posted, and they shouldn't be ATTACKING THEM AND SAYING TO OTHERS IN THE FORUM THEY ARE FALSE AND SHOULD BE CHALLENGED!

PJ, I don't claim to be a great Athlete. I've worked hard to get where I am, and so have Drew, Jake and Sean, since we were young and started to play in team/school orgainzed sports and have been coached to play, improve over time, and have seen results because of this.

You forget when you and I first met, I told you that I played on some winning teams and some not so winning teams; and over the years it was to pay-off IF A GUY PLAYS HARD, BESIDES WORKING AND PREPARING IN THE OFF-SEASONS ON HIS OWN OR ATTENDING SPORTS CAMPS; AND HE CONTRIBUTES TO HIS TEAM AND THE TEAM CONTRIBUTES WITH HIM AND THEY WORK TOGETHER THAT SOONER OR LATER WINNING SEASONS CAN COME!

One thing in mind, too, our high school has had some winning seasons in basketball, and some of them have been undefeated season or some with a couple of losses. We had not too long ago a team that had back to back winning seasons and both years they made it to play in the FINAL FOUR IN STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS PLAY-OFFS GAMES, but they lost to advance to play in the title game each year!

Everyone in our town has been hungry to see a team come along and do this!

We would like to give it a try! BE THAT TEAM!
The Coaching staff at our school think we could be that team!

I guess YOU, CALEB and LOUISA don't think we can do it?

Bet your waiting to laugh your butts off if we fail!

Also, Tanner and his team are making a run for the same thing!

Do you want him to fail? Want to laugh at him?

IF YOU LOVE US ALL, AND SAY YOU DO, GIVE US A CHANCE?

Because you've not played true school sports on a regular basis I guess you don't believe in THE DREAM!

It is every little kids dream to be a champion at something, at any level in sports!

Every basketball player since being a little kid has dreamed of becoming a CHAMPION at something and winning a title basketball in any part of their sporting career. This usually happens in high school and if not then in college!

Speaking of that, I, Drew, Jake and Sean hope we are good enough to play college basketball someday and receive some partical or all scholariships to do this; like your dream of becoming a MUSIC MINISTER and receiving scholarships from your school for that, etc.

Should these dreams not come true!

You mentioned that I was good enough to play sports in the U.S. Olympics a few weeks ago, and you wanted to be on the front cover of Sports Illustrated!

I didn't say it, I thought you was NUTS! I told you I was not that good, remember?

I'm still not!

You be on the cover!

Can we stop this fighting? It's hurting the forum, and making people MAD!

Stop challenging Athletes Abilities in this forum!

I still love ya, PJ!

I play organized sports, I play on a "winning team" (though we do lose occasionally), and I still do not believe you. Sorry. I think you know why.

Hana, here. I too had ?'s about MTA's into everything and belonging to winning teams in every sport. This said, like MTA my home town school has been champ or runner-up, in most of their con and district touneys. In the last two years we have very few losses in any sport.

Not like MTA, I attend a very small school. Our school(and others our size)are in the smallest class of schools in our state. It is very common for a person to play and sometimes be a starter and all sports. MTA you sound like your from a much larger town than I, with much bigger schools. The two of us I'm sure are not comparable.

Let's leave the sport topics for some other forum and stay on topic here. Hana.
