Hey Brooks,
Thanks for the concern to a couple of buddies and fellow brother athletes! Sure means alot to us!
We are still recovering from the flu, and now head colds have set in, and it's awful! You have that happen to you back in January?
Been sleeping alot, resting some and watched a little TV, and look for a separate thread we posted about Holly and Kelly coming over to Mark's house and we saw them at a distance for a quick "get well soon" visit, under the supervison of Mark's Mom.
The girls brought us gifts of "GET WELL SOON TEDDY BEARS!
They are really COOL and we took them to bed with us last night, cuddled and were thinking about Holly and Kelly alot!
We haven't had solid food yet, but been thinking about it. Steak would be fine, and think maybe we could hold it done.
Speaking of "tossing cookies" Mark has the most! It was embarrassing, didn't want to admit had the flu and our dad's hauled us to the TEAM DOCTOR and had not been inside the office door when MARK let's go, "tossing cookies" in the waiting room.
Nice Entrance there, Mark!
Back to Holly and Kelly, look at the basketball game results and how COOL the girls and rest of the Cheer Team at the game we missed did a GET WELL SOON cheer and wish for us on the Public TV station that broadcasts our games and the local radio station! We watched the game on TV, but sure hard not being there to KICK OPPOSING TEAM BUTTS!
We hope to be "turned loose" to play final two regular games this week, Tuesday and Friday. It will determine if we continue to win the LEAGUE FIRST PLACE but we can't have more then a loss to do it!
Drew and Sean and rest of the team came through to help win Friday night.
After this week, next week is District play-off and if we win (and we will) then is regional, quarterfinal, then
semi-final and Final Four and then state championship game over the next three weeks or so.
We want it bad, a State Championship! Our school has never won a state championship, but sent two separate teams twice to play in pre-state championship Final Four games and lost! One game was by l0 points! That was back in the l990's we've been told!
Yell, we've been cellphoning Holly and Kelly and texting messages.
Have to watch being on the computer as we really shouldn't be; besides sitting up in a chair at it doesn't feel good as laying in bed or on couch and our folks would have a fit as it's not considered: RESTING, GETTING BETTER, and perhaps PLAYING AROUND!
Hey when you had the flu, Allison take care of you Little Brother with "get well wishes, texting and cellphoning your and giving gift(s)?
