 Just found this site and am so pleased. I am a single dad with one grandson liveing with me also. Short and sweet: I do spank and use my hand or a belt, which child it is, has a lot to do with how I administer the spanking. I am pleased that so many parenst spank. The town I live in everyone spanks their kids. I remember being at the store in town and this young 4 or 5 yearolld girl was throwing a fit for her mom and screaming. I know that at the end (they were in the row next to us) I said to my daughter, "why does she not spank her little butt." DOnt know if she heard but as we wallked around the corner they were in the middle of the isle and mom was pulling her pants down and gave her three hard smacks on her butt. SHe cried but, her whole attidude was completely changed...GO MOM
