My folks know I do my best, and that is all they ask of me. It has not been an issue at my house, either!! Like PJ said, "now if we were not trying..." that would be a different story. Sorry to hear about the kid getting a 67 in English. If he was having trouble with English his teacher should have been talking to him to improve his study habits or offer to help him more to help improve or if they couldn't get someone else to help him to improve grades during the marking period leading up to final tests and grades. I feel sorry for the kid. I hope his dad doesn't "bust" his butt big time, but will think things through and offer to help him improve his English or find someone who can help! It has been a real long time since I have gotten a really bad grade. I mostly get A's and B's. But a couple weeks ago when my big sister Lauren got a D on her math test both mom and dad let her have it. Me and my other brothers and sister could hear the spanks and her crying. She also got her cell phone taken away which is like her life. As long as I keep up my good work I should be in the clear. Josh [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
