Mark,

I think you said all that needs to be said. All I ever really wanted was an explanation and you gave it. Your apology means a lot and I never even really wanted that.

I truly hate it that Brooks got dragged through our disagreement.

If we are honest, over the past year and a half we have both said some hurtful things, so lets forgive and forget and move on.

I will occasionally look in at Petedad's forum and I assume you will be checking in here on occasion.

As far as making a statement that I do not moderate these forums, Dad and I have both made it.

Mark, yes, I am fine now. I see no reason to continue to beat this dead horse.

School starts for me on Thursday. I am a senior and I hope to be class president so I can speak at graduation. I got knocked out of the valedictorian's spot.

The new job is at the church. I truly love it. I am the interim worship leader now. Dad left the pastorate and is now teaching at the university.

Mark (nerd) and I both graduate this year as does Julie. The school (college) Julie and I want to attend is not a practical choice so she and I will look at a state school. I will major in music and she in physical therapy. Nerd still wants to be a lawyer.

Caleb is a junior this year. Caleb still wants to teach and still plays piano.

JB and Beth are both growing and I can tell they are both smart. JB is stubborn like his big brother.

Benji is with us again. He is 15 now. He attends a different school now. He aspires to be a chef.

Rat is doing ok. Father's Day was rough. He will be a junior and will be Jr. class President. He is still writing and hopes to do some sort of ministry.

Turtle is fine. They have traveled some this summer and his Mom had a baby (on my birthday.) His step father adopted him.

Sam (Julie's brother from flip-flop fame) is married now and he and his wife have a baby.

Mark, we are 17 now and will be 18 before we know it. So, since we are almost adults I figure we ought to act like it. All is fine and forgiven. Sending a virtual hand shake. I can't say I will post a lot but I will make sure we stay in touch.
