Hello all,

I would like to participate in your forum. Having grown up in a small community in North Carolina I was very familiar with spanking as a form of discipline. My parents were very loving and disliked doing it, but if they felt it was deserved we kids would certainly be on the receiving end of mother's hairbrush or daddy's belt. I was also paddled in high school as a senior in 1993.

99% of my interest in this topic has to do with sharing memories and experiences, and exchanging thoughts and ideas.

It is my belief that spanking can be an appropriate form of punishment so long as it is done moderately and fairly and out of love.
