Hello,

I just recently came across this forum and thought that I would introduce myself.

I am a married father of two boys, one 14, and one 12. Both have been disciplined through spanking when it is called for. We have tried other approaches in the past such as, grounding, loss of privileges, loss of allowance, etc., but we did not feel that we were seeing the changes in behavior that we were hoping for, so I resorted to spanking.

I am hoping to connect with other Fathers who share the same views and perhaps also have sons. Any suggestions on how to better my parent our boys would be welcomed. While my wife supports spanking, she leaves all of the disciplining too me, and would rather not know the specifics.

I look forward to reading the posts and hearing from others.
