My name is Rachel, I am from New Orleans Louisiana, and I am 13 years old (close to 14). I am in the 8th grade, play soccer, and love to read. My mom is half American half Spanish (raised in Spain) and my Dad (who passed away three years ago) is originally from Louisiana. I've always lived in New Orleans. I am still spanked, although it feels odd to say that since I haven't actually gotten one since last March. But I know my mom most definitely still "would", and my younger sisters do get them occasionally (I have sisters 19, 11, and 7). Mom uses it as a last resort, either after other consequences or for a first offense of a major rule. I don't really think of it as a major part of my life, other than as something to avoid, but I've always found it odd that it is this thing I can't talk about with anyone. I've always felt alone. I mean I know some other kids do get spanked, even some of my friends, but I don't know which kids, so I always have to act like I don't get spanked. It is a very isolating thing. So when I found this forum a couple of months ago I started to read it. As time went on I came to like all of you and to trust you, so I decided to get up the gumption to post and say hi! So hi! They are mostly boys but they're good kids anyway. :-) My brothers and me have been posting here for about a year I guess. We were banned from the forum by our parents for about 4 or 5 months but then our parents let us come back a few months ago. It's a long story but we kind of messed up big. We are actually leaving the forum again soon but this time it's for good. My family is moving to Singapore and our parents don't want us posting once we move. I know what you mean about not being able to talk about your spankings. I live in the northeast and you don't talk about it much here. We know of some friends who get spanked and there are some we can talk to about it but it's not usually talked about. That's why our dad let us come here so we could share with other kids who also get spanked. But we talk about other stuff too and like I said they are all a cool bunch of kids. If you've been reading for a few months forum threads you will see that we play high school sports and last fall helped our school win a CLASS B state Championship in football and now we are playing on an undefeated high school basketball team. Like to explain about Mark in our group, he's been nicknamed Mark the Athlete because of another Mark in the forum: Mark W. so they can be known each in their own right and name. Rest of us are just Drew, Jake and Sean. Like you, we still get spanked when we need to be. We hate to be but, cooperate and it's better then getting grounded, which none of us have ever been or had to experience! Each of our four dad's each has a paddle they use on use. They spank us bare butt over their laps! Sure hurts. I guess us boys get or earn more spankings then you girls do? Wonder why? You got an answer? I think I want to major in English or Film in college. ~I did play soccer last semester because they were really short on girls for the team (which is why I listed it), but I am not very into soccer and not very good at it. I also play softball (which I enjoy more) and swim (which I do because I love swimming, but I don't like doing it competitively as much). In soccer I played midfield. SIX SWATS ARE A KILLER TO THE BUTT! After the paddling is over with, a note is given to be taken home to be signed by one or both parents and return to school with it. Usually after getting paddled at school, we've gotton paddled at home by each of our dad's! No fun getting two spankings in one day, and the home at home is given on our bare butts! More then six swats, too, and usually l0-l5 licks! You have good theory for your choice to chose groundings over spanking.
