Marcus I thought of you today. I know you like baths. I hate them and prefer the shower but my doctor says my incision can't get very wet so I have to do a bath and I can only put a little water in the tub - has to be shallow. So I got up from my nap and decided to do the bath thing. I was sitting there in my little puddle of water and thinking, "What does Marcus see in this?"

Also, I have been barefoot for two weeks now. I really don't go anywhere so I see no point in shoes or socks. I tried a little walk today and it was warm enough (to me) to go barefoot - I loved the feeling. Since I will be out of school for about 6 weeks I see very little shoes or socks in my future. By the time I get back to school it will be warm enough to wear flip-flops. Thought of you when I was coming in from my "walk" as my feet were a little muddy. I decided not to use the hose (a little cold for that) so I just sprayed my feet off in the tub and cleaned up my footprints.

I miss hearing from you. I hope you aren't grounded again.

I hate the way I feel - so tired and sore and hurting and I get so sleepy so easy. I am bored and want something to do. I have just about done all of my school stuff for the week. Maybe Mom can get me some more or a workbook or something. I hate that I can't eat like normal people. Julie is coming over for Valentine's Day and we are ordering pizza. I have to order chicken and mushroom with no sauce. Not only do I have my diabetes to think about, I have to protect the right kidney for now.

Well, God has been good anyway.

Please catch up on our posts to you and Max and let me hear from you.

Hi PJ. Im sure glad your feelin good enough to start postin again. Sorry me and Maxve not been here alot lately. We both been REALLY busy with school work and Maxs been gettin ready for a play hes gonna be in at school. We had a half day today and were off Thur and Fri so Im gonna try to be here more. Maxs program is on Fri night so after that he will be able to come here more too.

Pj Im sorry your still not feelin so good. I hate bein sick and havin to stay in bed and not go outside and stuff. Our Mom babys us alot when were sick and thats kinda nice. Is your Mom babying you too?

I LOVE takin baths!! We got one of those deep jacuzzi tubs in the downstairs bathroom and alot of times Mom lets me and Max take our bath in there. Its so warm and cozy in there and it feels great when Mom lets us turn the bubbles on. I guess maybe Im too old to still play in the tub but I do. Me and Max borth love playin with toys in the tub and we always have a great time but sometimes we get kinda carried away and get in trouble (gettin a spanking on a wet but HURTS!). I really dont like takin a shower very much and Max hates takin em. He dont like the water comin down on his head and he says he feels cold the whole time hes in the shower.

Me and Maxve not been goin barefoot much lately well not outside anyway were ALWAYS barefoot when were in the house. Its been warm enough to go barefoot a few times but Mom says no. Shes not that happy with us runnin round barefoot all summer but she kinda gave up keepin shoes on us. She puts her foot down when it gets colder and me and Maxre not allowed to go outside barefoot between Oct and April every year. I think shed be stricter about us goin barefoot so much but Dads on our side. He goes barefoot alot too but my Mom ALWAYS wears shoes even when shes in the house and when we go swimmin she wears those swim shoes. Mom sure puts up a fuss if we come in the house with muddy feet. She dont spank us or anything but she sure chews us out and sometimes she makes us mop the floor.

Hope you had a good Valentines Day and you had fun havin your girlfriend over for dinner. Did you buy her some candy? Dad always buys Mom a big box of candy and roses on Valentines Day and Mom always gets me and Max a little box of candy and a stuffed animal. This year Max got a dolphin (we watched a movie called Dolphin Tale last week and Maxs been crazy for dolphins every since) and I got a polar bear. Sorry you cant have sauce on your pizza anymore. Id hate that.

Well better go now. Stay strong PJ. Me and Maxll be thinkin about you.

See ya PJ.

I assume you are also off on Monday for President Day?

Enjoy your mini-vacation!

BTW, I don't have to eat weird forever, just until the right kidney gets stronger.

Hi PJ! Boy did we have a fun day! Mom and Dad took me and Max and Gage and Suri to St Louis today. We went to the Science Center and that was awesome! The Science Center is kinda like a museum but they let you touch stuff and play with it. They have this movie theater that has a HUGE screen and we watched a movie about life in the ocean and it was so cool! After the Center we went over to the Arch. Me and Max and Gageve all been up to the top a few times but Suris never been so we all went up. Suris kinda fraid of high places but he did OK and he loved bein able to see so far at the top. After that we went to this ice cream place that Dad likes. They make the BEST milkshakes! After that we went to the riverfront and look round for a while. They got gambling boats there and we all wanted to go see one but Mom said NO WAY and Dad said they wouldnt let little boys like us on anyway. It was gettin kinda late and we was all gettin hungry so Dad took us all to this real nice place to eat supper. It was a Italian place and the food was GOOD. It was kinda fancy and Mom told us we all better be on our best behavior or else! We was all pretty good in there and nobody got in trouble. We just got home a little while ago. Max and Gage feel asleep in the car and Mom and Dad carried em in and put em to bed. Suris asleep now too and I should be in bed but I wanted to post about our trip.

PJ Max wanted me to tell you that he did good in his play on Friday. It was Hansel and Gretel and Max played Hansel and he got to sing 2 songs by himself and a bunch with the other kids in the play. Hes gonna post bout it tomorrow.

Well I better get to bed fore I get my butt smacked.

See ya PJ.

There is a thread to Max about his play, he should read it and post on it.

Sounds like you had a great time. When we went to St. Louis, I opted not to go up in the Arch. I am kind of a wimp about high places. I just hung out in the museum while everyone else went up. I thought the museum was interesting.

Anyway glad you posted.

I forgot to answer something. Mom does not really baby me when I am sick. She does take care of me and gets me stuff if I need her to but I sort of like to try to do stuff on my own. When I am sick, I sleep a lot and Mom just lets me rest. I do like to have her in the pre-op room but they did not let her come this last time. She was real clingy to me in the hospital this time but I know she was scared and so was I - that was a nice feeling to have her there.

Hey, grounding seems to be working for you. I think it is reducing your spankings. What do you think? I know it sure helped me.
