I prefer my hand especially when spanking a bare bottom. I do use the paddle sometimes though. I prefer not to spank bare with that. 8.Do you spank in private? Most of the time. 9.When did you give your last spanking? If you count the one swat I gave my youngest son earlier this week then that was it. I don't count it myself but there seems to be a debate among the kids as to whether it does or not. Prior to that I spanked both boys last month for not doing their chores again. 10. What was the gender and age of the last kid(s) that you spanked? See #9. 11.What was it for? See #9 12.What is the main reason for the spankings you give? Disobedience, backtalk, not getting chores done, breaking curfew, not going to sleep at night. Skipping school or cutting class are biggies. 13.Describe the worst spanking you have given? I prefer not to get into that. I honestly don't think that as a parent it would be appropriate. 14.How do the kids feel about spanking in general? They don't particularly like them. Cooperative? Generally speaking, yes. Of course, there is a lot of begging & pleading before the spanking starts & some kicking & wiggling once it does. 15.Do others know that you spank? Some do. Is spanking prevalent in your community? I think more so than most be would care to admit. It's not talked about a great deal. 16. Roughly where are you from? Parent or acting on behalf of, Teacher, Coach, Assistant Principal, Principal. 4.How often do you spank?, this has varied over the years as a parent and as an educator etc. 5.In what position do you usually spank? as a parent I either put the culprit over my lap or had them bend over something, at school it's usually bending over a chair or a desk, or just bending over. 6.Do you usually spank bare? at home yes and in a few other circumstances, at school over pants with a few exceptions. 7.What implement(s) do you usually spank with? as a parent my hand or a paddle, at school a paddle. 8.Do you spank in private? yes but have punished more than one child at the same time if several were being disciplined for something. 9.When did you give your last spanking? a few days ago. 10. I have given a few sound spankings when I thought one was deserved but how hard a spanking or paddling was given depended on the situation, age of the child, offense, attitude etc. 14.How do the kids feel about spanking ingeneral? Cooperative? Not very happy at the time for sure, but then it's a punishment and that's to be expected. I have had students I paddled later on thank me for paddling them and tell me it helped them. 15.Do others know that you spank? Is spanking prevalent in your community?
