Hey Mark,

Hope your week is going great and you are kicking butt in school and on the basketball court. I am doing fine, it has been a good week.

Congrats on your recent win and keeping your unbeaten streak alve. I know what you mean when you say you are nervious about being unbeaten, I think we all feel that way at times, but all we can do is work hard and do our best and let the chips fall, right? And no, you are not being selfish when you want to keep winning, it is part of the game.

Thanks for the congrats on our recent road trip, it went very well and I am pleased with how we played. I am very pleased that we beat a powerhouse team on Friday, but then again, I wonder if it might have been better to beat them in the state tournament instead. They are a team will be one of the last standing, and if we meet again in the tournament, we will just have to beat them again. I am feeling very good that we can drive deep into the tournaments this year.

The road trip was a lot of fun with lots of good menories.

I appreciate your congrats on the other thread about me breaking the 1000 point scoring mark, and left a reply there. The game last Friday was very one sided and we cruised to an easy win. I feel sorry for teams like that who loose year after year. I can understand a bad year from time to time, but a team who always finished 3-17 or 4-16 year after year is bad.

Yeah, dad made sure I got the message about no more adult DVDs in the house. He spanked me with the paddle, glad it wasn't the belt. No, Brooks doesn't ever mention it to me.

I suppose I didn't get spanked when Justin and I were sent to he Principal's office because my parents would usually give us a second chance. If I ever sent to the Office again, I would probably have been spanked at home if my parents believed I was guilty.

I really believe that my dad would make sure we really did what we were sent to the Principal's office for before he would spank us. When my dad was in high school, he knew this kid, Kevin, who was a year younger than him and was expelled twice, and each time Kevin didn't do what the teacher and Principal accused him of. Other kids tried to tell both the teacher and Principal Kevin didn't do it, but they wouldn't listen - there minds were made up. My parents are fair and I believe they would make sure we were guilty first. That I am thankful for.

When my dad gets together with his old high school buds and team mates, thay talk with respect about most of their teachers and coaches, but that particular teacher and Principal, they have no respect for.

My mom gave me an address to write to Jeremy at, so I am working on a letter to him. It tough deciding what to say. It really is hard deciding just what to say. I been thinking about keeping it simple, mention a couple of fun things we did together and offering to help him any way I can when he gets out. I will then wait and see what happens.

Have a great weekend and win some games.

Hey Big Brother Tanner,

How goes it dude?

Great hearing from you as always!

I am having a great week, except I'm concerned and scared t hearing about PJ sick and having his kidney removed. Mark W. says that this will probably end PJ's football playing days?

I'm no doctor and don't know what the situation is but, if a football player only has one kidney then he is not allowed to play football? I don't understand, can you explain things? Can't PJ still play? He could play a less position of not getting tackled or worse come to worse become a STATS RECORDKEEPER! I don't want him quiting the football team, yet!

Thanks for the words of encouragement Big Brother about our basketball team and undefeated record and wanting to WIN! WIN! WIN and remain undefeated!

I get confused, even when I talk to Coach and he talks to us and our team to "keep doing what we are doing and not worry about what should happen or is happening but, go out and play OUR GAME!"

You would make a great Coach, thanks to helping me to see somethings!

I still want it all, win league championship and see what else is offered that we are deserving to receive. I pray alot and hope God doesn't think I'm selfish!

Glad you are still winning! You are a true leader and team made a great choice electing you a tri-capt. Again, CONGRATULATIONS on becoming a l,000 point player! That is AWESOME! I hope I can be a great player like you someday!

You shouldn't worry about beating the Powerhouse Team now. You were just making your presents known to them and when you meet again that they will have to reckon with you again and you'll still show your team is the better team!

Glad you got the paddle, if you had to be spanked for the DVD adult movie that Brooks say. At least you felt wood, and not leather! I'm glad my dad has not felt he should change me to getting spanked with a belt. I don't think I could handle that. It scares me and makes me wonder what my butt would look like. The red butt from the paddle is fine with me!

That's cool your parents give you second chances before getting spanked or other punishments. I have been given this sometimes, but when I'm going to get a spanking my dad looks at everything to make sure I am deserving of one and if I am we talk about it, and things and I know my dad would NEVER spank me for something he didn't believe I hadn't earned a spanking for, and then I get it! My butt, has always felt different, but "he" doesn't have a say usually! LOL!

My folks have talked about former teachers at all levels of school and most say they owe their great education to caring and loving teachers and school administrators. I've come in contact with some of them or been introduced to them by my folks and I'm told they can see I am be raised by responsible, caring and loving parents who care about welfare and good education!

Glad you got an addresss to write Jeremy. You'll do fine in writing him a great letter. You have a talent to know what to say, with care and I'll say for love of an old buddy and friend!

He will WELCOME your letter, and enjoy hearing from you after all of these years and what he has gone through. Maybe sometime, if he's willing, you and him could get together and meet for lunch or have him or to your house or something?

Thanks, I'll be glad to KICK SOME BUTTS tonight on the HOOP COURT and hope you do too, and we both have out teams to continue to WIN! WIN WIN!

Take care, Tanner! You are a very special person, friend and Big Brother to me! I look up to you!

Best always,

Mark

Hey Mark,

I am a little late posting this week, I had several teast this week that kept me very busy this week. Next week should be better again.

As for Valentines Day, I am geeting Kala jewerly, there is this nice locket she likes and it is not that expensive, so I will get her that and a box of chocalates she like. She will also be getting severals hugs and kisses from her favorite man. LOL.

Congrats on the close win in basketball and congrats keeping you winning streak alive. Those kind of games can be nerve racking, but they are also lots of fun.

Yeah, I was concerned for PJ this week too. I am glad things went well so far and hope he gets well. I am not sure why he couldn't play, but if he can't, I hope he finds someway to be involved.

I bet you know kids at your school who don't participate or get involved in anything extra, they just show up and leave at the end of the day, I couldn't be like that. I feel sorry for them and all they are missing out on. To me being involved in sports makes school 10x better.

On another thread, I left CONGRATS on your 30 point nights, great job. When the game started did you feel hot or did the game just happen and you got in the zone? I can do that, some games I just get in the zone and can do no wrong. These are great nights when they happen.

Got any big plans for your birthday? Mom and dad are planning a big family dinner for me with presents after. I love big dinners with all my family around, but Kala and I are also having our own get together. Just the two of us are going out to dinner together the night after and do our own gift exchange. I also hope for a few birthday hugs and kisses. Do you have any big plans with your family and Holly for your birthday?

THe old truck dad and I are working on is coming along. We don't get to work on it as much as we would like, but it is still coming along. For me school, sports, Kala, friends and time with family takes a lot of my time and for dad, work, being a dad, a husband, etc takes his time, but I really enjoy the time he and I work together on the truck. WE took the truck apart, and the chassis has been painted and rebuilt with a new engine, trans, brakes, and suspension, The cab has been repainted and it been mounted on the chassis, last weekend, we were putting in a new wiring harness, gauges, etc. We have a ways to go, but it is coming.

I wrote Jermy a letter this week and mailed it Friday, I will wait and see what happens. I kept it simple, just saying I was thinkimng about the fun times we use to have, and offered to be his friend and help him any way I can when he gets out. I will see what happens.

We picked up another win this week in basketball. It was a good game, close for a while before we pulled out to a 63-53 win. I had 26 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. It is had to believe tournaments will be starting soon.

Take care, have fun on your visit, have a great Valentines Day and birthday - good luck getting your divers license.

Later.

Hey Big Brother Tanner,

MTA or Mark the Athlete/Little Brother here... GREAT hearing from you!

Thanks for sharing about Valentines Day with me. This afternoon I & Holly, Drew, Jake and Sean and their girlfriends will all be going to Golden Corral for a "private" Valentine's Day dinner and we have the banquet room reserved for our private use. Going to have a candlelight dinner, and doing to dim the lights and I bought candles to use!

Can't have Valentine's Day dinner on Feb.l4 as we have school, and an away basketball game to go to win! We can exchange gifts that day at school or maybe we'll do that today, we'll see.

I posted a thread about Valentines Day in the forum, asking what others will be doing, you can post there if you want to.

Thanks for sharing about how you and Kala will be sharing Valentines Day! You get your share of HUGS AND KISSES now!

Oh, I posted a separate thread in the forum about my dad going on a business trip and my Mom is going along, so I'm stay this week at Drew's house as his roomie and it will be fun! Have to behave, I've been given instructions and Drew has too not to seriously horse-around too bad or two butts might get changed from white to red! YIKES!

Oh, because of this, me being away, won't have a computer to use to report the basketball games and weekend about my birthday so, I'll be away from the forum until at least Feb. 22 and return and report what happened!

My folks will miss Tuesday game but be back Friday for that game, and then we go away for the weekend for my birthday, and Drew, Jake, and Sean and their families and girlfriends and my Holly will be going to. Don't know all what it will be, suppose to be a surprise, so I'll tell ya later.

Hope you have a great Birthday Tanner! Sounds like you got big plans. You should, your going to be l8yrs. old. WHOW! Hope you get some great gifts and for sure lots of hugs and kisses from Kala. I hope Holly remembers me?

My birthday is of course Sunday, Feb. l9 and Drivers License Bureau of course closed. Monday is President's Day and it will be closed again! Tuesday I have school all day and leave right from school to go play away basketball game, so will have to wait until Feb. 22 to get my License. Can you believe this? Going to have Holly go with me, she did when I got my PERMIT last year when I turned l5.

I did have one thought, it was just a thought and I wouldn't really do it but, if I wanted that License bad enough I could leave school early on Tuesday before leaving for the game but, that would be skipping school and I'd get caught and have to go to the principals office and my butt would get paddled. I'd them find it uncomfortable riding the bus to the game and have to play a game with a sore butt and then when I get home my dad would have his turn with my butt and unlike the principal paddling on seat of my pants my little butt would be bare and I'd get the paddle from dad! RUMP ROAST BIGTIME WOULD HAPPEN! So, I'll wait until Feb. 22 to get my license.

I did one time, a few years ago, play an 8th grade baseball game after school, after I got paddled by the principal, and man was my butt sore, playing first base, stretching on the bag, batting and running bases. We won the game, and later at home my dad and I had a little "talk" and my butt got bared and paddled for a REAL RUMP ROAST that time!

Great to hear your still winning, too! Your in or have been in first place? Alone or sharinf? What is your record! Yeah, hard to believe tournaments soon but, I'm going to win a FIRST PLACE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP before thinking about that!

Thanks for the CONGRATS on our last two wins! I can't believe I scored 30 points in last game, Tanner! Honest, I started out slow basket shooting and then everything "CLICKED" and the shots were falling left and right in. Long ones and short ones. Did you see where I scored SIX 3-pts. baskets? They're checking, the school, I might have set a school record for most in a game of points for a player and scoring most 3 point baskets. Hey, I'm closing in towards the l,000 Point Club, but I bet I don't make it this year!

Hey, during the game an opposing player shot his mouth off to me, when I was making the points, especially the 3pt shots he said, "Check that kid to see if he has been taking steroids or something!" A ref whistled a technical foul on that kid for "UNSPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT" and I hit all my free throws to help drive the nails into the opposing teams coffin!

Great that your making progress you and your dad on the truck. Sorry my mix up in the Birthday Thread I thought the truck was yours or would be yours!

Know what you mean about busy, school, Holly, sports and some extra other things, chores, and homework gives me a FULL PLATE too, each week!

Hey, Brooks going to State Wrestling Tourney! YEAH! I prayed he would, He deserves to, he's been working his butt off. I hope win, be cool to have his photo and name with yours and Bradys in school showcase of Honor!

Glad you wrote Jeremy a letter. Hope he writes back saying he wants to be friends with you again. He never stopped, did he? When does he get out, May or June, right?

Gotta close. Again, Happy Birthday TANNER!! This is so cool you having a birthday day before me.

Hey wanted to ask for the fun of it, what time was it when you were born? I was born at 6am on Feb. l9 and arrive I'm told just in time to have breakfast, but I bet I did a little sleeping firts after getting tired getting myself here! How about you, when did you arrive?

Take care, have fun Valentines Day with Kala, Have a great birthday and I'll talk to you when I get back Feb. 22.

Best always,

Your Little Brother, Mark

Hey Big Brother Tanner,

I forgot to ask you something in the thread/post I left for you on Friday, 2-3-2012 and hope you might help me out?

I usually do pretty good deciding on great gifts to give Holly, and last year I gave Holly the special FRIENDSHIP RING I had made special for her, besides some flowers, perfume and candy and card!

This year I thought I might come up with a few ideas but, haven't and I guess I could do flowers, perfume and candy and card but, thought maybe you might have some suggestions for me to what I could give her?

I asked her Mom and My Mom and they couldn't think of anything great. I even asked my dad but, he didn't come through for me yet!

I asked Drew and he said I should find Holly a Valentine Cupid, like similar to "JR" the Christmas Sleeping Angel Holly gave me that is sleeping on the cloud with his little bare butt sticking up.

I told Drew, where in the world would I find a Valentine Cupid like the Christmas Angel and could he picture running all over asking in stores, especially for Cupid with no clothes on and bare butt?

Drew told me, "true love makes a guy do funny and special things for his woman!"

So can you help me out, got any Valentine gift-giving suggestions?

What are you planning on giving Kala, may I ask?

So, if you got any ideas, I sure would apprecate your imput!

Also, hope you like reading about our basketball game come-from-behind victory last night by a score of 53-52.

Man, that game was scary, and I thought we were going to lose, and I almost lost my cool in the game a few times, but my this year Coach hauled my butt out of the game a few times to calm me down. I was getting emotional and had a few fouls on me. I didn't get an "in the face" talks from Coach, but he knew what to say to get me "refocused" a few times.

At least I didn't yell one of the refs this year like I did last year as stupid Freshman hoopster when I got a BLIND REF and he called on me fouls all night long. I yelled at him a few times, rode the bench some and yelled at my Freshman coach why wasn't he helping me to tell the blind bad ref I was right, and he was wrong not to call fouls on the other team as a few players were body slapping me and weren't getting fouls called on them!

I lost it bigtime last year, I embarrassed myself, my team, my coaches and my family. We won the game, after I got my ACT TOGETHER, and later on I made things right and apologized to the team and my coaches. I agreed to take a paddling, and I asked that it be bare butt!

Later on at home, my dad re-lite up my butt in another paddling bare butt, and he sure did a good job, I had to sleep on my stomach and let my red, sore bare butt "moon" the ceiling to help cool it down!

I am proud to say this year, when I ran into some foul trouble and game playing trouble, I held myself together better and thought of the mess I created last year to myself!

You do anything crazy like I did last year, Tanner?

Anyway, we won the game Friday night and are still undefeated.

Hope you won your game!

Be waiting to hear your ideas for Valentines.

Thanks, Big Brother.

Mark
