Thanks for "finding" your thread to me, and the original thread from back around Christmastime which I remembered but, didn't know the date and I searched and searched in the Archives and must have just overlooked it.
Again, you did a great job, writing and researching! THANK YOU!
I like to read about Native Americans but, it has been in books, newspapers and othe sources about those who lived throughout our state I live in and around the county I live in.
I've also attended a few Native American Pow Wows held at a historic park near us to witness their ways of life.
I find it fascinating reading about their cultures and way of life but, I never came across anything that told about how children were punished and young pre-adults before reaching "manhood" or "womanhood" if you want to call it that.
Oh, on TV we get a station that is broadcasting a TV show from the l990s I believe that's the years I'm reading at the end credits called, "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" that stars Jane Seymour as Dr. Quinn and this is a COOL SHOW to watch and they've mentioned that they have Native American consultants for correct portrayl on the show, too! Nothing has ever been mentioned about spanking of Native American children on the show, only once in awhile about the one-room school children on the show!
It makes sense what you told that Native Americans marry whites and "adopt" some of the White's cultures, and that would including spanking of children if that is what the parents wanted to do, including the White Man's Culture of doing this!
I remember reading for a punishment, and this couldn't be considered a spanking, that some older Native American boys for punishment were made to run through the middle of two lines of adults they were "clubbed" on their body, but it didn't say what part like their butt, back or what. I would like to say, what area the club struck the Native American on would his punishment! For sure, he would not be struck in the head. I want to say probably the back and butt, and the boy would be running naked through the line!
I would like to agree with your sense of thought, that a Native American spanked on the butt, their skin being red, would show some darker skin as a spanking would be given to them and when finished their butt would be a darker red.
Your right (LOL) when I get a spanking, while I'm getting it that my white butt suddenly takes on "color" of a light red/pink and as my spanking continues and is finished, I have a BRIGHT RED butt; but for a Native American boy my age his butt would be just a darker red when his spanking is finished!
I'd like to back this up with another similar happening, if this is true.
One of the guys in our school PE Class said they attend another school one time and a Mexican boy was in his class and he witnessed that boy get a bare butt spanking. The boy of course would have brown skin, but as his butt was spanked and he received the licks of the paddle, his butt color became darker!
Wouldn't this support the theroy for a Native American getting spanked, too?

No, I have not given up on talking to you. I want to, and I try not to overlook anyone who has left me message or thread but sometimes Forum Moderator gets busy and can't approve threads right away, and if I happen to not be around for a few days they can be moved to the Archives and I hardly ever look in that alot to see if something has been moved.
Most of the time people will move back from the Archives a thread to be seen or tell a person to look for a thread so that was the case for your GREAT WRITE UP being temporarly lost!

So, I was just curious if Native Americans spanked their kids, how and what with. I guess we can assume they hand spanked, wouldn't you agree, and to how long would be left up to them and they should be able to see the skin darker on their child's butt to know what effect it ws giving and for sure crying!
I know you was having computer and internet problems too, why you couldn't "visit" the forum and over the last few months I've had computer problems and we got a different one. It had a Virus. Don't know it that was the cause or I've been having internet problems too where I'd write a thread and get ready to send it would be erased before my eyes. What would cause that,internet problems or computer?

Yeah, I watched the SUPER BOWL GAME. Drew and I had a better who win the game and Jake and Sean had a bet who would win the game. The winners got to give the losers a bare butt, hand spanking. I'm afraid I lost and Sean did too, as we picked New England to win and of course the Giants won.
Right after the game was over with, Jake and I "paid-off" our bets with Drew and Sean and we got our butts SPANKED! It was a "fun" bet spanking and I and Jake were laughing as our butts got redder and redder. We each got a total of 21 whacks! We did our age of l5 and the point win of one touchdown the Giants won by.
I gotta go, but please talk with me some more!
I have a Feb. l9 birthday coming up and I'll be l6 yrs. old and old enough to get a driver license to drive alone without an adult like I have been doing with a Learner's Permist given to me on my l5th birthday.
