The Hoopsters high school basketball team finished their regular season of play on Friday, March 2, 2012, at their high school in a home game in the final regular season of play that would determine a League Title Championship and and First Place. The Hoopster won the game 40-24 and a FIRST PLACE LEAGUE TITLE FINISH OUTRIGHT to finish league play with a record of 15-0 and overall season record of 25-0. Scoring in the game was: Mark the Athlete-11 points, Drew-l0 points, Jake-9 points, Sean-8 points. Before the game start it was Parents/Players Honors Night and the Hoopsters team members and parents were introduced and honored. Also, members of the school CHEERLEADING TEAM and their parents were honored as well! The Hoopsters basketball team will now play in their Class B District state play-off tournament they will host. They drew a "bye" and will play on Wednesday, March 7 and if they win will advance to the District Title Game to be played on Friday, March 9, 2012. GO HOOPSTERS! No way you went 25-0. No basketball team does that. I think we all know that your baseball, basketball, and football teams all going undefeated (and you being the leading scorer on every team) is pretty unrealistic. My soccer team is ranked in the top 50 nationwide for my age group (Mom asked me not to say what number because it's easy to find that info online) but we still lose plenty of games, even to teams that are ranked lower than us. It was so nice of you to let the other guy make a basket. Something seems fishy here. Our coach taught us that a game is a TEAM effort. So you guys played all four quarters, huh?
