I have been looking into Leonisa myself.
Considering their compression garments are classified for medical use,
I would think they'd be pretty powerful, and well made.
Considering the price, they better be top quality. They look well made in the pics.

I want to get the same as you are getting for your birthday, but I think sans bra,
because I'd like to wear it daily during the winter, but really don't want to deal with the bra possibly showing through.
The braless version also has a high back, so the only difference would be lack of coverage in the breast area.

I've had some older Penneys Subtle Shapers Total Support pantyhose, where the spandex in the legs totally disintegrated,
but the Spandex in the panty was unaffected - go figure?
Its kind of funny, the legs were about 3 times their original diameter, without the spandex pulling the nylon together.

I was not aware that Rago put plastic boning in any of their garments.
The 6210s and 6207s I have have spiral steel bones in them.
The 6210 has one solid steel bone, at the zipper, and it is quite stiff.
I have had that bone pop out the end of its casing on all 6210s I have.
When it pops out, I just pull the bone out, and leave the casing empty.
I think the bone is supposed to keep the zipper from scrunching up, but the task is more than the casing can handle.
Of course, I downsize one or two sizes, so that is probably the cause.

Nice talking to you louis.
I'm glad we both have wives that support our support. ;)
JP
