The '18 hour' girdle was a fantastic choice but you could at a distance smell the felt covered rubber. This was the first actual girdle I purchased or should I say my wife purchased for me. The rubber smell was undeniable. So the story went, I had new soles put on my shoes. That usually worked and the rubber smell was not a problem for a few times, but after that, where the hell did you get those soles. The rubber smell never seamed to end so I was doomed to having the rubber smell for weeks at a time. No matter how it was washed the rubber smell was always there. It was this point in time I had to forego girdles at work. Fortunately the "I can't believe it's a Girdle' came on the market and was available at nearly all stores. It came in a nice clear plastic package and there was NO rubber smell and had less give than the 18 Hour. This I believe was the most glorious girdle ever made. I was able to purchase these at Christmas time with ease. I would ask for a gift box at the same time. I have to say that the 'I Can't Believe It's A Girdle' was the finest girdles I have owned. Very lightweight, comfortable to wear, great support, no rubber smell and for years, was the only underwear I had. I have at least 10 of these not counting the ones worn out. They are still available in the UK and Europe but only the briefs, there are no panty girdles. Really, sad that these are not made anymore. I do think that there is still a market for them in the US. Because there are several other manufacturers making panty girdles and they have good sales. I would surmise that many more men other than women would purchaser them. Unfortunately, in the US it's all based on sales and making top dollar, and is no longer based on providing something needed, rather based on how much money can you make on this item. Anyway, I love the look of a woman wearing a girdle. No doubt, I can tell at a distance who wears a girdle and who does not. Yes, I have an eagle eye for how luxurious women look.

Even still today at 70+ years of age, there is no greater sensation than girdles and stockings. Since garters are nearly gone, lace top thigh highs provide the same feeling but don't provide the girdle 'tug'. The 'tug' is what keeps the open bottom girdle held down so it does not ride up on you. And of course, the bra came next, not so much as a feeling but more of a crutch, A longline bra and high waist girdle for me, was the ultimate in sensation. Adding a chemise full slip culminated to the greatest feeling ever.

So today, I wear Rago girdles since they are the closest to the 50's, 60's and early 70's girdles. I also have some 'Custom Maid Women's Extra Support Girdle' another one of the last girdle manufacturers so I will encourage everyone to enjoy the girdle.

I will close now with the final thought, I love girdles, and the girdle feel, I'm a straight male, not a trans, not gay and with a wife of 45 years and just want everyone to know that men wearing a girdle is perfectly fine. Whatever drives us to wearing girdles is a testament to our ability to have emotions, a lot of women don't understand that. Ladies, give your man what he needs and men, love your ladies like they deserved to be. On a final note, I love reading everyone's post and wish the best for all of you, keep posting...
