Robert,
Back in the 1960's, 1970's and somewhat 1980's girdles were an everyday fact of life. Wearing a girdle was not a big issue so my wife's cousin was not at all surprised. Actually she asked what brand and size I wore so she could help her husbands bloated belly. I told her it was a 2X 18 hour Playtex long leg panty girdle. And I kept the detachable garter clips. Boy I really miss those days that anyone wearing a girdle was perfectly acceptable. So today, I wear a Rago 6210 girdle nearly 24 x 7 and relish the fact that anyone thinking I was wearing a girdle would be a keeper.
