I started wearing my mothers Playtex girdles during the golden age of girdles when i was 12. I wore her bras and open bottom girdles with nylons whenever i was home alone. The intoxication and addiction set in that first time.
I am now wearing a feminine pad and Rago 6210 23/7, and feel lost without it.
It helps with lower back pain, and i luv looking down and seeing that flat, feminine front...it just looks right. As far as addictions go, an addiction to wearing girdles is a good one i think.
