This woman sure looks confident, feminine and empowered. She was a regular at the Garters and Lace conventions where this photo was most likely taken. I can’t recall her name. She is a beauty, a woman with an ample but perfectly girdled figure.
She is wearing the last of the really great panty-girdles. (The Rago 6210 pales in comparison.) The girdle is a Smoothie 5780 which came out at the very end of the girdle era. Very light weight, but extremely controlling. It was made with the Tweave spandex elastic. This elastic was incredible with its holding power, amount of stretch and delightful silky smooth touch. Though hi-waisted it was designed for the average woman’s torso, so it didn’t come very high above the waist for most men. Still incredible to wear.
Wish the Garters and Lace group was still around.
