Subject: Christmas Girdle Fitting

With the 4 younger girls having finished school in Mid December ok the 3 youngest, Maddison who was on a graduated return to school finished the week before much to the disgust of the younger 3! My mum had arrived from the UK to spend Christmas with Gran and the family, arrived with to my shock and horror a boy friend well really considering his and her ages a man friend! That weekend my Gran phones about when I was going to get Abbey, the Twins and Maddison's + my self girdle fits reviewed for Christmas Day and the church service she never missed! I pointed out that Abbey had only been reviewed a at the beginning of November, Sophia, Maddison and I were reviewed in September, Twins in August none of us were due till next year but Gran is very old school I know I had been through that with her many a time that in her view one has their girdle fit reviewed prior to Easter and Christmas! I pointed that Maddison was still not allowed to wear a firm girdle, I knew she would not let up, even pointing out that my mothers figure would be much better if she was to wear a girdle hinting at me to convince mum! I called Sophia who was doing her warm ups for the Ballet matinee performance, we were all going to the closing night show, Sophia confirmed she was available all day Tuesday. I called the store and got a 3 hour booking. Informed Gran and Sophia, then called mum, dropped the hints and got told "tell your Gran I will come but I am not having a fitting" so I told her "why don't you do it even if it is just for the girls?" mum responded "we will see" so I gave her the time and location and mum told she will tell Gran! She offered to come round on the morning to help get the girls ready and I accepted. The morning came, it was like a full scale military exercise, Sophia came home that night before instead of staying at her boyfriends, Sophia was the first one up, showered, knickers and light corselette on as I got up, she was just put her hair up roughly and handed me her hair brush, she pointed out she had put the coffee machine on, so I went and got a cup of coffee and came back, it was at least 12 months since I last did her hair and it was so relaxing putting up in a pony tail and tie a pink ribbon around it. She asked me who was first? I told her Maddison, the good news for Maddison was her physio and Exercise Physiologist had agreed she could wear a firm girdle for Christmas Day Mass only but had to wear a medium one the rest of the day, well if you have learnt what Maddison is like she had no intention of a few hours! Sophia got her up, Maddison has good days and bad days but more good but occasionally does need some help to get out of bed, accompanied to the shower by Sophia and watched just purely for Maddison's safety incase her legs should give way. As my mum arrived the twins were showered and dressed, Abbey excited that Sophia was home, showered and dressed. My turn and them mum who got changed in Hubby and my bed room, shocked me when I saw her wearing a Rago 6210! So I lined the 4 youngest up but Sophia joined the line up, she didn't have to for me to check over their outfits and that they there were appropriately girdled, wear a proper bra, stockings and slips, so I started with the check as followed:

All the girls passed as far as mum and I were concerned and this mean Gran should be happy!

At the store Gran was having her just finishing her fitting, Janelle who was the twins fitter asked who was first and before any of the girls spoke up, mum said she will go, well the look on Grans face of shock and disbelief, I told the girls to sit, dress flattened out, like ladies (what was i thinking telling the twins to sit like ladies!) and don't move as I follow from a distance as mum and gran went into the fitting room. I hovered from outside expecting to intervene when mum and her mum started arguing. But when I heard that the Rago 6210 was the perfect style for her and her fit was a tad big but was still doing its job but perhaps should consider going down a size. As mum agreed obviously must of put a size smaller one on and I heard her mention that she could really feel the difference as Janelle advised her she could get dressed and advised that she will use another room and start reviewing her grand daughters. As I quicky moved back to the waiting are to find the 5 girls seated there all prim and proper lake model young ladies. As they all went off with Gran and Janelle and came back, I went with Abbey as she was a bit reluctant to go with out me and while I was in there I was reviewed, I was wearing my pink extra firm girdle the same one I secretly saw Sophia trying on so many years ago, I only wore it on special occasions. Janelle was happy with all of our fits, Gran was very happy to know that her great grand daughters were properly girdled for Christmas.

There we go, so that is the event of the girls, mine and to my Grans surprise also my mum, girdle review prior to Christmas, it has brought Mum and Gran closer which is wonderful, but it is my hubby who really deserves the credit for this, I was against it as none of us were due to be reviewed, I knew nothing about my mum wearing a girdle but Hubby pointed out that this was an important memory for the girls as My gran in her 90's won't be here forever, her mobility despite her denying it is deteriorating and he was right, it was a great memory for the girls and meant a huge amount to her and that is why I agreed.
