Public holiday payment arrangements over Christmas 2010, New Year 2011 and Australia Day 2011
Centrelink has special arrangements in place during the Christmas, New Year and Australia holiday periods to ensure you are not disadvantaged by office closures. Payments that are paid automatically will not be delayed by the holidays, but some payments may be made earlier than usual.

All Centrelink offices and Call Centres will be closed on:

Monday - 27 December 2010 (Christmas Day public holiday)
Tuesday - 28 December 2010 (Boxing Day public holiday)
Monday - 3 January 2011 (New Years Day public holiday)
Wednesday - 26 January 2011 (Australia Day)
Reporting arrangements
Information for you if you need to return forms or report your earnings from employment.

This includes customers who receive:

Newstart Allowance
Youth Allowance
All other payments where customers have to return forms or have been sent Reporting Statements.
If you are due to return a form, you must do so before you can be paid.
