Hi i am 22 suffering from high fever and doctor diagnosed it as viral fever.i have been prescribed couple of antibiotics and injections(2cc+2cc).So my injection course has started yesterday and he said it will go on for six days.So two injections are over till now and the pain s very severe that i am not able to sleep.My doubt is will i be able to bear the pain since t s very continuous.Tell me some tips to be followed after getting the shot on how to avoid the pain.I am given injection on either buttocks alternatively in the lying position.Though my fever has gone down this pain s persistent.Please help me with ur suggestions

Curious, why 6? Isnt the idea of a shot in the muscle so that it slowly releases into the bloodstream? I would think 1 good one would do the job?
