Two questions here-
1st: Was your temperature taken? That might well have indicated a fever meaning your body was fighting an infection.
2nd. I don't see too much mention of throat cultures for those posting who said they were given shots for strep or other throat concerns.

I took my fiance to the ER because she was running a high fever. They took her fever and it was 103.2. They diagnosed her with strept A . The nurse came in with two shots and laid them down in front of her. She told my faince that she needed to lower her jeans and lay flat on the table. She unfastened her jeans and lowered them down to her knees and laid on the table. I was admiring her very cute bottom in her skimpy pair of black panties. The nurse oushed them down exposing her pure white cheeks. I watched in horrow as the nurse uncapped the first needle and burined it in the top of her butt and injected. She cried out in pain. When she pulled out the needle she had a blood trail running down her right cheek. She begged the nurse not to give her the other one. She had already uncapped the needle and had her hand firmly on her right cheek. As she jabbed her in the right hip and said this will be over in a minute. Once again she screamed out in pain. She cleaned the blood off her butt and placed bandaids on the two sites. She then looked over at me and told me you might want to massage her butt a few minutes. She is a tiny thing and she probably feels like she a lump of coal in each of her cheeks.

This morning I had to go to the doctor after my pap came back positive for an STD I got while on spring break. The male nurse came and handed me 2 very large syringes that were filled with a white medicine. He told me to hold them and warm them up and he would be back in 15 minutes. I was so scared when he came in. He said you need to lower your jeans. I pulled them down and laid flat on the bed. He pulled down my panties. I saw him uncap that big needle. he pushed my hands away from my butt cheek and slapped me really hard three times on my left cheek and buried needle deep in my butt. I screamed out as he started pushing it into my butt. I was crying like a baby byt the time he finished the first injection. he waited about ten minutes for me to get calmed down. One more as he uncapped the other needle. I screamed out again as he gave me the next shot. My butt was so damn sore. i looked at my white ass and saw blood trailing down both my cheeks. he wiped the blood off and put bandaids on the 2 spots. He rubbed my bare butt for a good ten minutes and helped to get me dressed. I will damn careful next time I go on spring break. it was not worth getting those two big shots.
