I received them from ages 6 until I was 13. I got the shots at home because the allergy specialist lived couple hours away. They mailed the vials to us. I got all my shots for about six years in my arms except when I would go for a checkup twice a year they would sometimes give me a larger shot in my bottom. When I was 12 my arms were getting sore and had become tough from all the shots. Most of the needles had trouble going in. i thought the doc would let me just quit the shots, but he said I could just get them in my butt for awhile. I was shocked. i had to get them in my butt for about a year and a half. My dad gave most of them to me and my great aunt gave me a few. I admit I did not miss the sore arms one bit.
